Great video. Knotters look just like the JD knotters from the 60's, only difference i can see is these look like they have a hydraulic drive to run knotter head
Krone 80-80 is the same model as the John Deere 100. We also have a 100 series square baler order new in the fall of 1998. We are closing in on 65000 bales with ours and do mostly haylage with it. I install Baleskii in the bale chamber 6 years ago make the biggest difference in baling higher moisture bales
It still fascinates me how those needles and knotters work and makes that knot within like what, 1 second .... engineering marvel but farmer nightmare when it doesn't work, right lol
I realize this is an old video just found it I'm 65 and have bailed my far share of hay and straw is it true that back in the day M. F made the best bailer, s we had we bought one used and never did anything to it but put twine in it
Wasn't bragging just remembered am old Wis tal like Oliver s made best plow who really knows for sure farmers that keep there equipment up are the ones that know thanks Andy
mueller tim that's what I was thinking replaced it and they recalibrated it and that's working like it should. We had some stripper plates for the rotor missing need to start there first. Pre compression chamber not loading completely the way it should.
We Just bought a John Deere 100 over the weekend hopefully we made a good choice.
Andrew your a damn good farmer. Thanks for bringing me along
Great job Andrew as always really enjoy watching the new big urine balers are monsters have a neiful week Gary
Great explanation of the bailer! I can see a lot of similarities of this one to a small bale bailer. But I doubt a kicker would work on this one!!!
Having a spare baler sure does help. I kept my old round baler for the same reason
Looking good man I hope you get it in before the rain that's a smart move having that Baler for a backup
Mr Nate we hammered through it and got done
Another great video! Your able to cover alot of acres with that machine.

Corey McDonald 65,000 wow, I had Bale skis in our little baler and probably should get them for the large square baler
On america have more europe ballers ? Claas quadrant 1200 model ? Whos say about Krone and Claas large square Baler ?
It still fascinates me how those needles and knotters work and makes that knot within like what, 1 second .... engineering marvel but farmer nightmare when it doesn't work, right lol
Good video
I always heard bad them balers but it looks like it's making a good bale
Tony Schroeder it's decent
Old time remedy .keep a can of Kerosene and squirt the knotters with it .makes the twine grip or slip when it needs to.
Your twine discs are loose. Give the tension but a quarter turn that allows bills hook to complete not and tension string to allow cleaner cut.
meditech thanks for the info
Should go with no precompression chamber
How much would the baler be looks like a good set up over stoping to drop a bale and what tractor are you using
Evan Dckens John Deere 8320 tractor on the Baler and it’s a John Deere 100 big baler

What’s the copper tubes for ? Preservatives ?
william hulslander air lines to keep Knotter area clean
looks like an excellent way to lose a finger
load cell LB333 on top of baler

Andrew they also added extra ground wire in computer box on baler voltage would very very slightly
Not a popular big square ...
Hesston is the king in that department..
