- This time lapse was filmed on May 18, 2006. It's the best one I've ever recorded, because it has a fantastic surprise near the end. What a view it was.
And I was very happy with the music selection. It works so well with it. The music is from the classical pop group Bond. It's called "Winter". Enjoy!! Развлечения
The music, the cloud cover, the rain, and the surprise, of all things, a rainbow! Excellent video! A+ grade!
I always love the sky after a storm. It's so clear.
A perfect alliance enters the music and the state of the sky (as at the end with the rainbow and the return to a state of calm). Great!!!
A rainbow! Great! The music is great! Good choice! Good video!
WOW. That was amazing. I am favoriting this and 5 starring it. The music fit great with the exiting of the storm. AMAZING
Not only the timing of the music, but nature's timing was spectacular at well. Really cool the way it cleared up right at the end of the day, just in time to wrap it up with the storm clouds moving off further and further into the distance.
this is stunning. it was like the sky was choreographed to the music.
That was great! It's so amazing when you can watch it like that.
This was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for sharing.
Incredible, absolutely beautiful. And I loved the music, it fit so well!
That was absolutely beautiful! The surprise was well worth it, and the music DOES fit wonderfully. When the second set of clouds roll in, the music does too. Great, great stuff! :)
I love how blue the sky was afterward, very pretty.
Wonderful!
The music was a perfect fit.
Clouds are such a mysterious art form and you have captured the clouds' variety of vapour volleying!
Thanks
Well done Sbazzle!!! That was a perfect blend of nature and music. I enjoyed that a bunch.
Clouds are so.... mesmerizing...
one word.....WONDERFUL!
wonderful film. It was almost 3D when looking at it. The movement and timing of the film was spot on. the double bow was wonderful to see as well. It captured the entire storm better than National Geographic. Well done.
wow, i love this, its really great, and yes the music does fit so well, it is as if it was made especially for the video.
This is one of the best time lapse videos ever created! Kudos to you, man!
I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it! Great job with the choice of music!
Woaw real cool. Beatifull rainbow and sky in the end
A double rainbow! A fantastic ending to a truly beautiful video. Many thanks! Fived and faved. :)
WOW! Absolutely beautiful
Very beautiful! Good music too, and the surprise was really something that immediately put a smile on my face! =)
Fourteen years later, still coming back!
brilliant! and the music does go VERY well with this!
That was the prettiest thing i've ever seen.
Got to love the double rainbow at the end.
Nice job! Beautiful clouds and music.
Nice. Never saw a rainbow move before. You can tell its moving with the dip in the sun's angle.
Lovely. And it looks like a nice neighbourhood!
Beautiful! Thanks for the share Nom!
that was sooo beautiful.
This was fantastic! :D
Fabulous! Well done!
Very spectacular and breathtaking, awesome video :)
amazing!!
if only you had more of these videos..
That video was lovely...!
I favourited this video six years ago and it's still as amazing to watch now as it was then. Lovely. Just curious, where do you live? It's amazing seeing so much variation in the weather over just one day!
amazing, what an eventful day.
that was amazing!!
Love it!
Cool vid! loved the rainbow at the end!
wow. that was amazing.
Fantastic, I agree with everyone, the music was so well timed, I wondered if you just scored it yourself. Excellent!
Very good job ... this is awesome....great music choice too .. i did a time lapse to, but nothing like this one

well done, good job!
The music is from the classical pop group Bond. It's called "Winter".
That's a beautiful neighborhood.
Superb.
I ENJOYED IT!
Very nice!
The song is called "Winter" from the classical group Bond.
wonderful
Thanks for the rainbow!
Music matches the video, great job on composing.
nicely done
Great video and even greater music for it. Don't mind the haters, not all nature videos should have ponies and butterflies in them, so the music is a great choice.
After the front had passed, you can see the low level and high level clouds running towards slightly different directions as the warm air was elevated. Low winds were from WNW and the higher winds were from WSW. Finally, the low clouds were gone due to sinking air and it became fine.
Before the evening, another storm brought us the lovely rainbow :)
the violin part sounds a bit like Vanessa May.
Great vid, must have been a cold night!
cold front+clear skies at night=COLD!
So peacful
Yes.
one word:
Splandid!
Thanks.
Incredible video. Great effort and the rainbow is just an epic win :)
And yeah, for all you haters; not all nature scenes should have relaxing music. In my opinion the music is perfect because it is a storm, not butterflies and flowers.
I had a chance to make a timelapse like this, with a rainbow, but I fucked up because the battery wasn't full and I just didn't realize it early enough... nice vid!
@boydyb This was actually shot from my little Logitech web cam. And if I remember correctly, the software was set to take a picture every 7 seconds. I think the video was put together at 15 frames per second.
The camera was inside. I used my webcam and pointed it out the window. I set it up to take a photo every 7 seconds, I believe. I started it before I left, and stopped it when I got home. Put all the images together, and voila, time lapse goodness!
OH MY GOD! DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY!!! :D
Simply awesome. How long did it take to film?
Nice piece of work!
Can someone pls tell me the title of the song in this video?
@2:02, here it comes.. so cool!!
@sbazzle I like the music. sounds like a bit of a different version than I heard, and good video too!
Isn't it surprising that the camera was in the perfect spot to see a double rainbow?
It's in the description.
kewl
Nice! Where was this? It looks like an average spring day here in the Pacific Northwest. :)
What software do you use to produce your time-lapse videos?
I like the music.
Thanks for posting.
Yeah, it was a surprise that I had the camera in the perfect spot to catch the rainbow.
Wow! at 4:55 you can see two rainbows!
Awesome. The time lapse, the music choice, the timing; everything was perfect. (Out of curiosity: You referenced the song title and artist. Did you still need liscence/permission or was the reference enough?)
It's all in the description.
Latecomer:
The camera should be facing SE. You can see low cumulus clouds running towards NE initially...should be in the warm sector. Then it suddenly got dark as the cold front approached....and it rained. (TBC)
LOL
outstanding vid & reply
The music is the "Rocky Theme," yes?
Ok, what was the surprise. i only watched because of that.
Um, I read the notes. Have you listened to the Rocky Theme? You'll notice a startling similarity. They're both beautiful pieces of music, it's just that one came before the other. Some people call that creative license. Some call it theft. The video is nice regardless.
wow i just saw a "surprise" yesterday and i find another one today. too bad its only a half -_-
And why would you hope the rainbow isn't the surprise? How many times have you set up a camera and caught a rainbow from start to finish??
Ahh, i see you used a logitech webcam because of the auto increased light as the landscape darkened, its called right light technology, so what model did you use?
