I have the trekker model, the trekker is a one person model, well worth the money if you get one, a three in one system, a kettle, rocket stove and hobo stove.
Lovely to see you three out again and a lovely sentiment about your dad. Very fitting. Storm kettles are brill and those wraps looked well tasty 😋👍 Take care, all the best, Andy
Thanks Andy really appreciate that buddy. It means a lot. I thought the kettle would be a great way to pay tribute to my dad's memory. The food was amazing mate and the day out was much needed and enjoyed. Thanks again buddy 🙂👍👍👍
Great bit of kit, i recently got the trekker model for solo hikes. Even with the smaller version the cooking ability is awesome. Good video, love the dog, reminded me of my old cocker spaniel Percy
Thank you that's much appreciated, they really are a tremendous bit of kit. So versatile and as you mentioned the cooking ability is awesome. Yeah, Bramble is something else, she's a lovely doy such a gentle nature. Cocker spaiels are a great breed Bramble is my 3rd one our old girl is in some of our older videos. I imagine you have some great memories with Percy. Thanks again for watching and leaving a comment 🙂🙂👍👍

We done the same as you on Saturday buddy had to change location. This spot is the one on the first vid of yours I commented on. The spot we went to first was like a swamp 👍👍
Nice one garry - a wee little stroll but a great result with the Kettle and hey the omelet. The afternoon worked out a treat bro. All the best for the week ahead. Mark
Thanks Mark, appreciate that buddy. It was a lovely day out we definitely picked the best day of the weekend. It poured down yesterday. The food was warm and tasty really nice and we love the new kettle. Thanks for watching buddy it's much appreciated 👍👍👍
the kelly kettle certainly does look a great bit of kit, and a great idea to have to remember your dad. food looked great, i really like those type of pans they can be very versatile
Hi Lezley, thanks for watching. It's a brilliant bit of kit I'm so pleased with it, it being bought in memory of my dad makes it even more special. The food was really nice and well needed, especially after the trip in. Those pans are great and that one is much cheaper than the ridge monkey. Time will tell if it's as good. Thanks for watching it's much appreciated 🙂🙂🙂
Great way to remember your dad. Nothing better than a happy wife with a cup of tea, a nosey dog, and the smell of firewood with bacon in the woods. Nailed it 👌🏼
Thank you I appreciate that and it means a lot. Its a fantastic bit of kit with a bit more meaning for me. I totally agree this was just a perfect day out. We really enjoyed our selves. Thanks for watching and commenting 😀😀👍👍
I've had my Kelly Kettle Scout model for a while now. It goes with me, any time I'm traveling in remote areas, camping, as well as during the winter. I keep a supply of pinecones, tinder and small twigs in a zip bag, so they stay dry. I also carry cotton balls that have been dipped in petroleum jelly (vaseline). I have a magnesium stick with ferro rod, and always carry a Zippo lighter with me (even though I don't smoke). . Add a gallon jug of water (the Scout holds 41 ounces = 1213 ml), some instant mix foods, and everyone's absolutely necessity (a roll of toilet paper, which can also serve as a fire starter), and I'm ready for a weekend adventure. . One trick I like is to cook ramen noodles. Broken up a bit, they fit fine in the small pot that comes with the kettle. Add the spices, and fill the pot with boiling water until it just covers the noodles. Let them sit for 4-5 minutes until they are softened. At this point, they can be eaten while still hot, but not so hot it burns your mouth. If you get another pot of similar size, you can make two of these at the same time. . Here's a great ramen noodle breakfast recipe: mix some eggs (like you would for scrambled eggs) and take some precooked bacon that's been chopped. Add some green onions (scallions) or chopped chives. Put that on top of your ramen noodles and then pour the water over them to cook everything. The scrambled eggs will mix and it's a lot like egg drop soup with extras. 😁
They are a really great practical bit of kit. I'm so happy with mine, thank you for the tips and advice those are great ideas. Im looking forward to trying them out. I bought some hardwood kindling and keep that in a dry bag. More so with how wet everything and everywhere has been. Thanks once again its much appreciated
Thank you so much this means a lot. We enjoyed doing this video. It holds a bit of meaning to me. I love the Kelly kettle more so with buying it as a gift from my dad. 👍👍👍
Good day Garry and Claire and Bramble! We are Mr. Garry and Mrs. Betty with Rosie and Ruffles! Got to get a Kelly Kettle….they seem great for camping and hiking. Right idea to spend the money on camping supplies!
Hi it's nice to speak with you. The Kelly kettle is a fantastic bit of kit, we are looking forward to getting out and using it over the coming weeks and months. Thanks for watching we are going to head over to your channel too thank you once again 👍👍
Mate for something so simple they are amazing. We cook them regularly defo our go to scran when we are out and about. One tip streaky bacon seems to work out best. Enjoy I'll be tuning in when you upload have a good one atvb, Garry 👍👍👍
Remember that the kettle should be almost full when on the heat. The fire will start easier with the kettle on the fire pot. The jet effect pulls the air in. Thank you for this video.
🤣🤣 she is a typical spaniel full of life and energy. But she is really good around food. She is as good as gold a right happy dog. She did get some egg and cheese she's brilliant. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment it's much appreciated
All the very best to you aswell my friend we are all doing very good looking forward to be up in the countryside a lot more this year hope yous are all okay aswell speak to you soon buddy
By the way, tortillas should be cooked. You ate a wrap in a raw tortilla. It's not dangerous or anything, just tastes way better that way. Just a pan in a little bit of oil until they just barely start to smoke, then flip and repeat.
Hi, how do you find the plates and cups, I’m looking to purchase these for when the family is out bushwhacking 😂 but they’re expensive. I don’t mind the size and weight as long as they’re solid. I prefer stainless steel and these look ok but without having used them I’m not so sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers mate
Happy to help if I can, this set came as a package and cost me £100. It's a great bit of kit, I really enjoy using it. Go outdoors has some great stainless steel mugs for around £5 each. They are great value for money. Other than the plates that come with this set we have some white enamel ones. They are great too, made by a company called Falcon. We have mugs to match also. If it's stainless steel your looking for I found these ones online. I hope this helps you out. I will say I would recommend the enamel ones we bought ours from the shop Boyes, very reasonable prices. towsure.com/products/summit-stainless-steel-metal-camping-plate-24cm
