How chainstitching works on a German Singer Slant-O-Matic

Chainstitching on a German 4x1 series machine (401G, 411G, 431G) and what it takes to make the North American equivalent machines chain. Includes part numbers for the chaining parts. The North American Bobbin Case is part 172082. Note: My new microphone seems to have bit the dust, so I'm back to the Apple headphones - so some of the noise problems are back. I apologize for that.
