Omg this one was a trainwreck. And I hate it when Mick overpronunciates, it spoils the delivery!
It was a bit of a cringe in parts, but at 80, that has got to be expected on the odd song or two.
@@loftusroad10Frank Sinatra used a teleprompter onstage to remember the words to his songs later on touring. But you gotta admit the duet on "Dead Flowers" was perfect!
Guitars are awful. Have to be covered by horns. Even Mick changes octave and talks instead of singing. What a drag it is getting old indeed 😢
I was there. Guitars sounded great. Horns are on the studio recording too.
@@ed52369 I know the Exile studio recording ! My point is the horns are the only ones in tune here !
Mick can’t pitch it in that key anymore. Still love to hear them knocking that one out though.

Yea I agree. Band sounds good though here. Mick is a bit off. But at 80 he is doing great. Look at Biden. Same age He can hardly even talk anymore.
Just a shadow of their former selves. Keith and Ron strumming a disinterested chord occasionally, they lost all fire and inspiration when Mick Taylor left. I saw them do this song in 1972 with Mick T carrying the load and within 15 seconds it sounded like a freight train was coming at you. By the last verse Mick J sounded possessed when he screamed “I can’t even feel the PAIN no more!!!!” After every song the crowd was left stunned and euphoric. Now they sound like a bad cover band.

I agree with you to a certain extent but these guys are in their 80’s now. While they all look pretty good for their ages, they’ll never have the energy they had when they were in their 20’s or 30’s. Still think they’re the greatest rock and roll band in the world.
