I'm turning 18 in October and my life has CHANGED. I am going through hard issues like depression, anxiety, there are sick people around me and I feel the pressure to be REALLY 18 because it is not just about qualifications, but about taking care of a house, work, good grades because I have to do it, not only "would I like to" to get a scholarship... And all this hits me very hard, watching your videos it's something that I am really grateful for cos it reminds me why I am doing this and why I'll give my best
PD: I'll be studying political science in Australia next year that's why I have to be a super human on my current uni

SO stressed about my A Level results this year, so I'm very thankful that you've posted this video! I've watched so many packing videos and things to bring to university videos, but this is the first video I've seen on how to prepare yourself mentally for these changes in my life. Results day has me so STRESSED - I literally hate that i didn’t get to take my alevels because it doesn’t feel like I earned any of it. At this point it’s just a case of keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I get into my firm uni.

good for you! :) I have one more year left "provided things go well". I would encourage people to make the most of it definitely. You don't have to go crazy. I personally focused more on academics and was still able to have a good time. I joined a society and it made a difference. :)

Ahhh I’m feeling so nervous for A levels results day!! Idk what grades the exam boards are going to give because I attend a low achieving 6th form so that’s gonna mess my grades but hopefully I’ll get in uni 😭😭

Hi Vee!! This is so nice :) I studied Ancient History, Archaeology and Egyptology at KU Leuven. I recently graduated as a teacher. It was hard, like u said, but when I look back at these 5 wonderful years (and 3 university degrees), I am so happy. It was literally the best time of my life. Looking forward to the future :)

As an American that sponsorship was wonderfully confusing
So basically in the UK, we get conditional offers for universities, if we meet our requirements in the conditional offer we will go to that university. If you don't get the grades, you can go through this clearing process, so you can look for different universities to go to since you didn't meet the requirements.

I'm getting my master’s in Behavioral economics at City University of London!! 🥳 I'm so excited for this degree and although I wanted to be in London for it, I'm still really excited about the books I'll be reading and the new questions I will develop and answer. I hope you do some videos on online learning because I haven't been the best in the past and I don't want to mess this up because I'll be spending a ton of money to fail.
