@texasgoddess323 today I made a cherry pie from scratch. Including rolling out the crust, making it with ice water, real butter and flour, and even pitting the cherries by hand. The entire process took hours. I even bought a few new pieces of equipment for it (a French rolling pin.) I invested a lot of time and energy into this scratch-made cherry pie. 🍒 I could have gone to the grocery store and got a store bought one. But nothing would have compared to the real-deal pie I worked for. The taste was unimaginably exquisite. Something you could never replicate with a knockoff version.
