Hi Leesie! One thing I notice is like if I get upset then I get kind of anxious or like rushing myself to do the ME becuase it feels like it can take sooo long so it like “takes me away from what I’m doing”.
That's not uncommon. Just have compassion for yourself and choose to create just a bit more space for yourself. You can ask yourself about long term gains versus short term with respect to doing the inner work now versus getting the thing done. Obviously if a tiger is rushing at you, don't get a pen and paper to write out the Mirror Exercise. But hope you get my drift!
You can do both. Comfort the ignored part and then speak to the part of you ignoring yourself, find out why and help that aspect of you make a new choice to no longer ignore you.
