Being a carnivore, I love using carnivore chaffles for “sandwiches”. Sounds great, and can be adapted for carnivore by just leaving out the broccoli and create the Alfredo with cream, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic and pepper. Yum! How fun to play with the stuffier!

Wow! What a great idea. I usually make chaffles and then add sauce or other things. I forget about my stuffler, I need to get it out in this hot weather and make some stuffed meals like this.

Parmesan shamers need to relax. LOL. Live your life and let others live theirs. Be kind. I always have a nice block of very expensive parmesan on hand, but for some things, I just prefer the taste of the green top!

Looks great! Just a suggestion: If you are cooking for a few people, don't fill the chaffle, just make a thinner one and you can cut that 8 minutes down to maybe 6 minutes. For that filled one, you had to increase the cook time by 50% (adding 4 minutes to make 12 minutes cook time) and it still barely came out in one piece for the plate. (BTW, that's the coolest stainless steel back splash for a stove I've ever seen.)

Great idea.. I was looking at the new keto Chaffel recipes on Pinterest and there are few I will try…yours as well. We need smell-o-vision. Yummy 😋 I have used almond flour as there’s no weird taste but it keep my sugar levels low 👍🏼🌺 I’m on the keto/carnivore diet for three months and 8m losing about 4 lbs per week…feels great to hang every in a good healthy way. 😊

It looks so good but I had gastric bypass a little over 2 months ago and I can't eat eggs ... They make me so sick ... But hey I've lost 75lbs since April 24th so that's ahead of what my doctor wants by about 35lbs

Hey there Leisa just to let you know that Walmart I. Canada is changing their price stickers to digital which means they can change the prices on products instantly we are finding price increases up to $1-2 increase every couple,e weeks .yeah I said that correctly weeks so maybe with all your preparedness videos you could do another one on that for otc meds first aid kits pain meds etc. even hygiene products. Also the heritage foundation 2025 that’s an eye opening read . Not to create panic but some meds might be cheaper at the dollar store Advil and alieve and such . Doing the math the smaller size might be a better buy .your great at explaining things keep up the great information .oh yes how are those babies growing ?
Well, you almost lost me at “waffle” as I don’t have a waffle maker, but since I loooove you… I’m still watching lol and, while I won’t be making chaffles, I’m thinking a chancake would be yummy. By the way, have you ever made a zucchini pizza crust? It’s low carb… no flour needed. Let me know if you want a recipe.

Zucchini Crusted Pizza Base
2 C grated zucchini (I always shredded it with a box grater or food processor attachment, I never actually grated as in a small grate)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 C mozzarella cheese, grated or shredded
1/2 C parmesan cheese, grated (the green can, i never tried freshly grated)
2 T olive oil
The following are optional and to taste:
basil, oregano, garlic (minced or powdered), onion (minced or powedered)
Preheat oven to 400 F
generously oil a 10" pie plate
Combine everything in ingredient list, mixing well and press into the bottom of the pie plate. Bake 35-40 min or until top is golden brown.
Cool for about 10 minutes and loosen crust from the pan (I never tried parchment paper, but I think the mixture could be too wet for that).
Spread your favorite sauce and pizza toppings over it and bake at 400 F until toppings are heated (cheese is melted, pepperoni is hot or crispy to your liking, etc.)
This does not taste like pizza crust and you will likely need to use a fork rather than picking it up, but it sure does satisfy a pizza craving.
Mind you, this recipe was developed before "keto" was a thing....so there could be some improvements made in the recipe that we didn't know about 30 years ago lol Enjoy!

Has anyone ever wondered the circumstances that lead someone to put some butter, flour etc together into a pan then added some milk and bam we have Alfredo Sauce, or who came up with Mayo, or the million other culinary masterpieces we all take for granted. At least I can say I know the women who coined the phrase "Ugly Chicken" and now Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Chaffles.
