Well hello my friend truly want to thank you for that Bluetooth installation from vehicle Electronics place I just purchased my knee just arrived today so I truly wanted to see how you physically install it so I will be putting this into my 2009 1800 Goldwing and hopefully it will do just as well as yours so that I can finally listen to my music without all of that talkin that is done when you listen to XM music on the wing I got so tired of all that talkin anyway thank you my good friend that was a excellent installation video..👍👍👍👍
Grrat question but i don't know the answer. You could try calling Electrical connection. They might have a different kit to install. I put the product link in the description. Click that and see if they have a contact number. Hopefully they will have something for ya.
I own a 2007 Goldwing and just ordered the adaptor. I do not have a power adaptor in my storage console. Only thing I have is the AUX cord. Did I see correctly, did you plug one connection to the of the power adaptor in your console that I do not have???
Hi Timothy, I happen to have a usb power adapter in the storage console. I'm not sure if that was standard back in 2013 or if that was added in by the first owner. I don't think it will matter. The bluetooth should connect inbetween your existing power connection connector. I would imagine your 2007 should have the same type of power connector under your storage console that mine has. You could contact Electicalconnection just to make sure. Thanks for watching!!
Did you ever get this figured out? I don't have a cigarette lighter in my pocket but I'm told the chords are under the pocket. The red one will be for the power and the white one will replace the aux chord.
I purchase a simular unit, everything works real good. Which is music and goggle maps,, but the phone will not. I can't make or recieve call thru my wired helmet I can't figure it out?
Is the sound better with your set up than a rechargeable or usb portable blue tooth device (less than $20 on Amazon) that plugs directly into the small 3.5 mm aux on the wing? That way you don't have to take the box out etc....
Hi Doc, Great question but not sure. I did a J&M Speaker Complete Upgrade also (see vid if you like) The sound seems really nice. The portable blue tooth device might be worth trying since it's so inexpensive. The box is really easy to take out. Maybe 10 min to do. I also want to try just blue toothing into ear buds or something like that. I know that's not safe, but wanted to try...
So my only concern is right now when I have my Bluetooth helmet on and a phone call comes in, my helmet picks up, I'm just worried if I hook this up, and have Bluetooth going instead of the 3.5 mm plug, when a call comes in the motorcycle speakers are going to want to take the call instead of my helmet. Any dealings with that? I should mention I have a newer phone that can connect to two Bluetooth devices at once.
Good Morning John, That's a really good question. I'm not sure. My phone will also connect to two bluetooth devices at one time. I'll probably get the cardo packtalk bold system in the near future so I'll get a chance to see how that works and will let you know.
Hi John, Just wanted to pass on some info. I use Google maps for my gps directions and the voice commands play over the speakers now. The voice directions are going over the bluetooth. I thought the bluetooth kit only did music but it seems to do a little more...
Hey man, thanks for the video! In the link you provided, it asks if I want the Bluetooth only or Bluetooth with ground loop isolator, which one you have? Any ideas if I need to buy the ground loop isolator as well? Thanks,
Hi Hussain Kh, Sorry, I'm not sure. I think I still have the box it came in at home. I'll look for the part number on it when I get home from work tonight and send you another reply.
Hi Hussain Kh, The part number on the invoice is 03215. It doesn't say if it has the ground loop in it. Hopefully this helps. If not, there phone number is 865.219.9192.
but now my friend need to find something to hook up with that Bluetooth installation something that's going to keep the phone charged so that will have to worry about the battery going down on the cell phone while I miss you to my music and it shuts off..so maybe you can find out about that for us viewers out here..because that is a must to keep the cellphone battery charged while playing music..???👍👍👍
Hi Stefan, Did a quick test. Started RUclips and played some music. It DOES play through the bike speakers. I don't use Pandora so not sure on that one. I'd guess yes. I mainly play music that I keep on my phone. We ride in a lot of places that you can't get cell service. Thanks for watching.
Hi Eko, Here's the website link. I'm not sure of the part number, sorry. It would be worth sending them an email. Electrical Connection - Lighting, electrical, and audio for the Powersports World. _____Est 1994_____ electricalconnection.com/
The sound quality is great. It's really nice not needing to have an auxiliary cable hooked up to my phone into the bike. The Bluetooth connection has been really solid to.
Why the one you install, it’s different to the one you put it in the link? The one you put in the link doesn’t have the connection for the auxiliary cable
Hi Rudy, Not sure. I did put a product link in the description. Just click on the link and it will take you to the product webpage. Thanks for watching!
Hi Sinus, You need to use your smart phone that has your songs on it. For me, I use the google play music app which has my songs. I pick the songs I want to listen to from the app. Your phone needs to be connected to this adapter using a bluetooth connection. Be sure to have the bike stereo on auxiliary setting.
Hi Ben, Thanks for watching. Good question. Not sure. Never tried it. I only play my music over my phone using google play. Google maps voice comes through the blue tooth which is nice.
Hi Victor, I don't remember the exact name but I remember it came from electricalconnections. I put a product link in the video description that you can click on. It will take you to the one I used so you can check it out. It seems to be working really good. I use goggle maps from time to time and the goggle directions come through the bike speakers also. Thanks for watching..
I will look into it. I have a 13 F6B, and my mother in law has a 03 Goldwing. I found a similar adapter on Amazon without the T connectors, that I ordered to install. Hopefully it works just as well.
@@bgrides2108 I got them about a week ago, and it was a quick install. It plugged into the connector where the auxiliary cord was. Then just needed a power and ground, on mine is the red plug. My mother in law's 03 Goldwing not so much. But I'm very happy with them.
Love your videos and you did help me out a lot with that Air filter change .... that was one hell of a job! thank you! 2016 F6B here..

Simply but efficient to use the communication.
Just wondering whether you can use your navigation too?!

What is the part number of the blue tooth adapter for the goldwing
Hi Jim, it would be worth calling them up and checking. I'm not sure what the number is exactly...
