Great reviews, only thought is the truck lid luggage rack. I have read that the lid weight limit is 5lbs. And my friend has 2002 Goldwing and on our way down to the tail of the dragon(300+mile trip) I told him his trunk lid with luggage rack was bouncing a lot, we didn’t think much about it, but about 6months later he had to repl bro the broken latching hooks that are attached to the plastic anchors under the trunk lid. The kit looks pretty good, Crome handle attached to the lid and steel attached anchors to the lid latching devices, that OEM were plastic. I already had a luggage rack on my 2005 Goldwing, but I just have it on to protect the lid and to look nice, I think the lids bouncing is what broke the plastic anchors. Thank you, ride safe! 🙂

Just a couple other thoughts on the video. First, thank you for pushing the importance of wearing a helmet. My helmet saved my life back in 1985 when my front tire bead broke on the rim in a hard right turn. I went under the bike and the engine was resting on my helmet as we slid down the road. Needless to say, had I not been wearing my helmet, my head would have been ground into hamburger and I would have been dead pert near immediately. I walked away with a little bit of road rash and nothing more because I had on the right gear.
Second, good riding boots are a must. I especially like the ones you showed from Bilt because there are NO STRINGS. Shoelaces are dangerous. I got some shoelaces caught (wrapped around) something and I couldn't put my foot down when I stopped. I tipped over. Didn't get hurt, but lesson learned.
As for people riding with flip-flops, well, you can't fix stupid.
    Ride well, sir!

Great tips and suggesstions. I am not into having the tech items on my scooters and may try some someday. But the sidestand and boot tips are great points. I bought a throw-down option for the stand, but I like that slip on piece.

Very nice. If you decide to do the traxxion suspension, you will be very, very happy with it. It’s like divorce, expensive but worth it. LOL!

I have the Traxxion suspension and the auto wheel balancers that help as your tires wear unevenly. Great products! Love my airwings too 👌I would also suggest a high quality seat upgrade. They are definately a bun saver! 😂Safe riding buddy! 👍

I’m about to pick up my first Goldwing next Monday! I’m excited! Thanks for the tips especially the caution on the left foot potentially touching the ground when under the left lever while making a left turn. I will be careful of that.

How do you define "high heat" on the Go-Pro? I lived in the desert in Kalifornistan where it was routinely 120-130 degrees. I'd call that "high heat." I now live in the much milder state of Tennessee, but it still gets to be 90 to 95 degrees on some days in the summer with high humidity. I'm curious how it would work in this climate. I don't relish the idea of spending an exorbitant amount of money on a Go-Pro if it's going to be useless when most people do their riding...in the heat!

We have had a heat index over 105-110 for up to 7 weeks straight in Florida. That is what I consider high heat.

GoPro’s suck, you can heat your home with one in the winter, plus the battery life is junk. 10 to 12 minutes and the camera is boiling hot and then the battery dies. Look for another brand.

Most of this stuff (besides a good GPS) is what I'm trying to get away from,
Apple, Smart phone, Google, Barf! I just want to hear my engine and the wind!
