Indeed, they are very to use this Holbein academic, but maybe you can use baby oil with a cotton bud to make you easier to use, even à color shaper may be useful or stump! If you are using pastelmat or colorfix sand paper for pastel, you can put many layers easily. Some artists like to use the à smooth paper like Bristol for doing Impressionist art style! 😊😊
