BRAVO! Magnificent restoration! Especially pleased to see the outside mirror mounted WHERE IT BELONGS! That color & interior knocks my socks off! Luv' the NO console too! John DeLorean, Jim Wangers, & Russ Gee are smilin' down @ it right now! The Hurst mags are the final coup de grâce!....especially w/that color!
Finally a man on the right page listening to his comments regarding new cars today looking pretty much the same, so true and what a classic it is that GTO.
I own a 64, that my dad bought new, and I’m still slowly restoring it. This man did it right. Excellent job. I wish there were more videos on this car. Thanks.
That's incredible. I have my deceased mother's 77 Firebird Skybird. It's been garaged it's entire life but doesn't run all original cosmetically almost perfect the mechanical needs help the V8 is all there
Super job on a piece of Pontiac history. Wasn't a fan of drop tops, or gold paint, but this car is the exception. Has all the right parts, and up-grades. Also totally agree about boring transportation of today. Most cars are painted black, white, or grey. No pizzazz at all. Thanks for posting.
3:08 Those words are never truer my friend. I 100% agree and it is sad that it's the truth. Cause you got the EV's, Crossovers, Hybrids like why they all look the same and like he said they don't have character at all.
My boss has a whole bunch of GTO's, some are totally finished, and lots that need restoring. He is having a problem finding shops that will take his cars. If you are interested, reply back to me. They must be done correct. I can't think of them all, but here is some that are in line for restoration....65 convert tri-power 4 speed, 69 Judge 4 speed, 1972 HO 455 4 speed, 1967 HO Auto, 1970 GTO 4 speed, 1970 GTO convertible....not sure if its auto or 4 speed, 1972 GTO HO 455 Auto, 1964 tri-power 4 speed. There are others, but the above are the ones he wants done soon. 2 days ago he got back his black 70 Judge from the shop, they had it for about 2 years....man thats a knockout...another shop is doing his 65 GTO, thats about half way done, he just took a 71 Judge to a place in South Carolina last week...that one will take a year or so to get done...that ones dark green, black interior, 4 speed, 1 of 357!
That car is beautiful, saw it at ames performance pontiac nationals in norwalk ohio a few years back. The judges were hacks and robbed the guy, should have got best of show!!!!
T-800 Model 101 Infiltrator Unit. That and the fact they had to work with a really rusted chassis, which to most car restorers, is considered junk at that point
How about the fact they didn’t have to just do a little bodywork and repaint the car ..It was basically left for dead in a barn for years and years ...Didn’t you watch the video ?? Lmao
Bu aracı toplayan da akıl yok herhalde. Ben orijinal 1959 Ford Fairlain 500 otomomobilimi...devrildiği için Hurdaya çikarmıştım. 1987 veya 1988 yillarında. Ben ikinci sahibi idim ve araç her şeyi orijinal idi. Onu arkadaşım'ın ölen dedesinin ailesinden almıştım. I guess there is no mind that collects this tool. I scrapped the original 1959 Ford Fairlain 500 automotive ... for being overthrown. In 1987 or 1988. I was the second owner and everything in the car was original. I took it from my friend's deceased grandfather's family.
