I haven't been letting the cold keep me away. This video is changing my mind! I love the chest cam portions. Helps me learn, even while I am staying warm.
Yes you spent Christmas as I surely would have if I could . I'm glad one of got to go . Watching this video was the next best thing . Tight lines Dana !
Wow. What a day. Thanks for taking us fishing you. All I got for Christmas was Covid. I’ll be back out in a week or two. If I have half the day you had, I will be happy.
I hope you have better luck with Covid than I did. I was in the hospital for awhile and almost didn't make it out. I'm still dealing with "Long Covid" and the after effects. Get well soon.
One right after the other!! Man I love days like this, cold or not, Looks like an awesome time and fun way to spend some Christmas down time!! Great Video Brother and Merry Christmas!!
Thanks! Merry Christmas to you too! I run into situations like that a lot on the winter, it's one of the reasons that winter is my favorite time of year to fish.
Great way to spend Christmas morning Dana. The action was fast and furious. Striper mania, wish I had them up here other than out in the ocean. Braving the cold and having a blast. Good stuff……. I’d say I hope you had a good Christmas but I can see you did. Hope your New Year is equally as fun. Cheers
Wow you tore them up! I am kicking myself a little for not getting out that morning. I was planning on it but just slept in too long. Got out this afternoon and got some nice ones including a 6 lb lm on a black and blue jig. I'm gonna have to try the hair jig out.
Is that a highway bridge behind you I was told stripers like bridges because there's always a lot of current going thru them. But the places you are at I don't know what to believe now
@ I’d love to go to Lanier but it’s so big I wouldn’t know where to go and It’s a long way to drive for me so I try my best on Allatoona but I don’t do as good as you do. Love the video’s and I’m actually learning something. Thank you sir.
@@michaelupchurch3769 Make sure to get the Gamma Touch Fluorocarbon. It is formulated for spinning reels. I have landed Stripers well above 20 pounds on it. I grew up fishing for Walleyes.

Merry Christmas, Dana! I have never caught a fish on Christmas day.
Merry Christmas! It is a tradition for me to fish on Christmas, I've been doing it for years. It keeps me from sitting at home by myself.
I am glad you had a Merry Christmas Day of fishing!Goodfish and good video!
Best day I've had in awhile.
A bunch of fish for Christmas. Who could ask for anything more. Have a great 2025!
Same to you!

A 6 is a nice one! It's kind of a tradition for me to fish on Christmas Day. Beats sitting at home by ,myself.
Great day on the water. You were slaying ‘em! Do you think you could do a how to video on how you tie your buck tail jigs? I sure would like to learn.
I will get around to it at some point.
Merry Christmas Thanks for all the enjoyment. Over the last couple of years🎄
Same to you! Thanks for watching!
Great day! You using a small buck tail with anything on it or trailer?
I never use a trailer, it kills the action of the buck tail. Thanks for watching!
Is that a highway bridge behind you I was told stripers like bridges because there's always a lot of current going thru them. But the places you are at I don't know what to believe now
There is very little if any current at that bridge. I catch Stripers without any current all the time. Find the bait and you will find the Stripers.

@@jamesslavensr7513 Thanks for watching! I've caught some good fish at Allatoona. I need to get back over there someday.
Sir Can I purchase so e of your hair jigs and also your Fluke jigs you make?
Sorry, but I don't sell them. I just don't have the time to make enough to sell. I work a crazy schedule.
Did you say 8 lb gamma floor carbon that line must be pretty strong
Yes, I use 8 lb Gamma Fluorocarbon. It is way stronger than any other 8 lb line.
@@FCPFishing okay thank you I'm going to try to get some of that line I like to walleye fish also and crappie fish

@FCPFishing okay I will thanks you
You must be using a extra fast rod
The rod I am currently using is an FX Custom 7 ft medium extra fast.
do you guide?
Not at this time. My work schedule makes it impossible.
