God has only three answers to prayer
1. Yes
2. Wait
3. No, I have something better
Charles Randall - There's a 4th answer... perhaps the hardest for us to deal with... and that's SILENCE.
Sometimes the silence is because God wants our faith to be tested or to see if we'd persist in our prayers.
Sometimes, if we knowingly ask amiss, it's the silence of disapproval that says: "You know better than THAT!" (If I coveted someone else's wife in my prayers, I'm pretty sure I'll be met with a stony silence from the Lord.)
Sometimes, God sovereignly remains silent without explanation. Israel had to deal with the silence of God in the inter-testamental years... the time between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament.
If you Google "the silence of God", you might be surprised at the number of results.

Prayer works! I was driving up the mountain yesterday on a snowy road hit a steep hill my Jeep started to slide uncontrollably backwards picking up speed I cried out to God and what do you know while picking up speed my Jeep came to a stop in the middle of the Hill 😊
Wow!! Isn't God awesome & amazing!! I have had a similar situation happen myself & knew right afterwards it was God holding me in place from proceeding when my light turned green, even though i had not known the semi truck was coming from the other side of the hill at a great speed to get through the light! I'm sure the trucker thanked God and I still praise God that I was being still!
Oh yes amen I also aeroplaned twice on ice this winter on a highway. The car was uncontrollable. God stopped the car and kept the road empty of other cars till I was safe and could control the car again. I just pleaded the blood Jesus.

I just wanna say this. This morning I was really nervous about basketball tryouts. I wasn't just nervous about trying out, I was nervous and embarrassed because I had to walk up to tryouts. My mom's car had broken down almost 2 weeks before tryouts. She missed some days at work because she didn't have a way to make it but almost half of those days God provided a ride for her. God also provided us with a ride so that we didn't have to walk back home. I was a little embarrassed for them to see what kind of neighborhood we lived in. I pray every day that God will provide my mom with a better car and a better home. But, we didn't always live in a low-class neighborhood. Back in 2014, our home burned down, it was the most beautiful home we lived in. It had 2 sunroofs in the den and there was a sunroom. We were devasted, and we only lived there for a few months. Til this day I cry every night wondering why we didn't go to church every Sunday and how I could have prevented this from happening. I feel like I'm the one that's supposed to pray for this family so that nothing ever happens to us. It's a lot of things that I want and asks God for but as I pray it seems really unrealistic that God will actually provide it for me. But, I still have hope. And I want you guys to know that God is real, he has done many things for me. He got me out of situations I wish I hadn't started and I thank him for that.
When I see my mom cry it hurts me to my soul. Before our house burned down, my mom was always happy. I rarely ever saw a frown on her face. We lost everything in that house fire, and I pray that God will provide for us better things than we had. Just know that God WILL provide for you. It may not be now. But, it'll be on time.
Read Philippians 4 verse 19 ......it's yours God will supply your need It's His promise !God bless you
