I watched a video recently that was magnificent. It was a pastor breaking down Psalm 23, and in it he said "when man rests, God works." Jesus said "take my yolk upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly of heart, and you will find rest for your souls" when God is our Sheppard, he makes us lie down... and I feel like we forget that in our day-to-day.

Hello! I just wanted to lyk there is no special way or place to be or words to use to pray. Praying to God is talking to God! Just like you and me talking! God would love to hear from you! He knows our thoughts and our hearts, so technically we don't even really need to pray, but praying is our way of communicating with Him and building a relationship with Him! It's just like any relationship - the more time we spend together, the better we get to know each other. Try it, just talk to Him! And you will see, He will answer! You can pray giving Him thanks for things, or you can pray requests . And be specific , if it is important to you, it is important to God! ❤

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. I trust in God and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. God please hear my prayers. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent I’m ashamed and overwhelmed. But I choose to have faith over fear as christians that’s all we can do. No matter your struggle, you can turn to God. He knows us personally and can give us strength to overcome our challenges. Heavenly and merciful Father, I come before your glorious throne today, in humble adoration please help me overcome my struggles and my constant fear of homelessness. Amen!
My mom raised me by herself and I was on the spectrum. Geneticists told her I would never walk or talk. Now I can walk, talk, dance, and run. That is thx to the Lord. God knew what I needed and that was my mother. Same with your kids. God knows exactly what they need to become what God created them to be and that is you! Believe in that!
