Im always scared to because if anything happens it's bricked
I haven't updated my bios once since I got my PC back in Jan of 2019 I'm too scared at this point to do so, so I probably won't be. I'll replace it eventually so I'll just update the entire motherboard instead of just the bios.
Looking for a new GPU to handle 2 monitors on 1080p and a third monitor on 1440p. I currently have an rtx 3050 and an AMD ryzen 5 5600x 6-core CPU. For around $400 what GPU would you recommend?
Bro new true 1440p card in arrived arc A770 in 300$😮😮 you should look this
Free stability increase? Always do
If given the option I would prefer to update my bio's from the inside rather than flashing from the outside.
can you make a guide on how to do
Yeah, don't update your BIOS unless you are having problems. Updating it at best does barely anything, and at worst, could brick your system if something happens during installation.
Yo how do I update all of my driver's and install all the necessary drivers at once , always get cooked in this
Can you give me a list of parts for a gaming PC build around the Nzxt h9 flow with a 7800xt and a r5 7600 for 1440p?
I love your content btw
Can you explain when and how do I need to update my bios?
just because it'll work doesn't mean it's stable. flash your bios, no matter the situation. why give five different responses to the same question?
That motherboard at the star is clean af, what’s it called?
I can’t update my BIOS because i’m using a gen 3 PCIE riser and it needs to be set to gen 3 in the BIOS to boot, and after a BIOS update, the settings are reset. Thanks ASRock. Now i have to completely disassemble my PC to plug the GPU directly into the slot to boot it and change back the PCIE version.
Yeah ASRock be like that sometimes goodluck tho!
One time I updated the BIOS on a laptop of mine because it requested it on startup, and I couldn't use virtualization after that. The setting wasn't even in the BIOS, to my knowledge at least. Idk what happened but its my dad's computer now, and he doesn't use VMware/VirtualBox so I couldn't care for a fix.
I'm just curious as to if I'm an idiot or if the update cooked something.
Hey zach I checked in a marketplace and the i3 14100f is around 110-120$. Should i get the 13100f?
I havent done it in four years. Lets see how it goes.😂
How often do I have to update my BIOS? and Can I skip versions and install only the latest one?
IMO, don't update your BIOS unless you are fixing a problem or require it (Like how you had to update the B450 boards to use 5000 CPUs).
Don't fix what ain't broke.
Is rtx 3080 and Ryzen 5 7500f good combo?
I haven't updated my bios on my 18 year laptop since 2006
So Update Bios for the finalization of tge build, after that proceed with caution gotcha
Please convince my mom to get me a Microsoft flight simulator
