Honestly, I think the fact that Gyutaro can be played as a reset character and be played like Akaza shows how versatile the character is
Nah, I agree with Globku. For efficiency sake, he shouldn’t be played like that. His meter is extremely important to maintain neutral and also aids in his strength or resets and guard breaking. Throwing all of your meter in the trash unless you’re about to surge just leaves you with far less options and more time for your opponent to take advantage of your lack of resources.

Of course you can play like that, however it’s far less efficient and counteracts the strengths he has. He is also not as fast as Akaza, so maintaining the meter is an important thing to work with considering it’s highly useful for catching your opponent off guard.

Nah, it gives your opponent a wide opportunity to take advantage of your lack of resources, especially with Gyutaro lol.

7:20 yeah for some reasons Gyutaro and Murata’s tilt skills sometimes don’t delete the traps,it’s weird
i learned that if you dash into the gaurd once (or twice) for the gaurd break all you gotta do is the tilt cancel into demon skill then one more full tilt skill and do the full move. that way you can save or use one more demon bar.
I saw a few of those matches. It was also bothering me that they were throwing their meter away like that when they didn’t need to😆.

I use his ranged blood slashes as a backup Incase I'm hit honestly, but also to put pressure.

I often just go for a few normal attacks, then the one skill where he does three slashes and launches in the air, then i dash towards them, 2 attacks, flying blood sickles and then normal attacks

The both of us are on the same page here. Gyutaro is not a meter dump character, which is why I've been valuing him so highly in the roster. One of these days, you'll remember that I am also a knowledgeable fellow. haha Good vid, Glob!

A great player can get out of pretty much any reset. That’s why you don’t just spam them, however it’s still an incredibly good/easy one to catch your opponent with. Globku’s point was that meter dumping with Gyutaro only leaves you with fewer options and goes against his ability of maintaining constant pressure. The reset symbolized something you’re able to do when you don’t just throw everything in the trash.
Can we get some consistency with the tilt skills, or am I the only one who has issues?
Question: How does people deal with the delay? Do they just deal with it or can you fix it? I really want to invest time in online but the delay its a big turn off

Why don’t you make how to use videos, I love how in-depth you are with them, but you never make how to/ combo videos so if you’d make some then it would be that much better.
I don't meter dump, I have a 2 bar, 1 demon bar combo and a three bar combo and both do semi-decent damage

Actually from someone who has easily knows how to use all characters. I can say gyutaro is the 3rd or 2nd best character. Akaza is the best in the game. Gyutaro has resets. Has projectiles that trick your opponent. And the poison is very good. You should however never use your ult while doing a combo of five hits or more the dmg will be nothing.
Literally, the ult can be completely useless

hes still only bottom A tier, maybe high B tier lol he really isnt as good as people think he is. the top tiers still easily defeat em
true but he’s still by far better than the low tiers. ofc the top tiers are gonna be better cuz this game has no balance so that isn’t really saying much. mid to high A is a good spot considering he’s the best dlc

Gyutaro REALLY isn’t anyway even near top characters. He is fine and very precise at some aspects, but heavily lacks at some others.
