Watching this video made me curious because Ryu also has a 6 frame normal in crMP that works similar to Luke's but unfortunately, his backdash goes too far to actually make it work, however he can do the same thing with stLK. It has good followups with drive rush despite the 10% damage scaling since ryu has already pretty high damage overall
Shoto backdashes in 3S were like this, though they were short ranged and quick, it worked to their benefit because it enabled them to punish throws very quickly. I think El Fuerte in SF4 was like this as well. And yea Luke's crouch MP is extremely good, it's lowkey kind of busted that it goes into back HK on counterhit/punish counter for 3000+ damage lol especially if you buffer into it and abuse his low recovery. Also Luke has one of the farthest 4f lights in the game which is part of the reason that it's possible to punish those throws like that.

They probably try to nerf Luke's camping by making his back-dash worse, but it made him broken
If they want Luke to not camp, they have to do something about the fireball and level 1 super. How about he lunges forward before doing fireball. So if he wants to camp, he must leave walk back and be susceptible to lows, or be vulnerable when back-dashing
I said Luke is a top 2 character regardless of his results . JP only had the edge due to Amnesia but the nerf will severely hurt JP . Luke can survive the nerfs since his kit overall is so strong
Unless they completely gut Luke (which could happen overtime) I think he will always be good. We all know the amnesia nerf is coming, but I’m curious to see how it changes playing against him.
@@user-wy1et9dk9w that’s what I mean by he will survive any nerfs . While nerfs may stop him from being the best, he will always be strong & viable
Ken is the character who gets into the top 8 most frequently, followed by JP, and then Luke.
The frequency of Ken and JP getting into top 8, top 16 is obviously higher than Luke.
I don't know how they would tune in season 2, but ken and jp are the best characters in season 1 if you want to get into top8.
@@computervision557 while this may be true, I also believe the better players like Ken better than Luke . So what should be a close call appears much different due to results
@@problemsnearyou8899 After making statistics from the competitions in which major professional players participated, you will know which character is stronger.
If there are no players to choose from, then there must be something wrong with that character, either it is uncomfortable to operate, lacks strength, has low damage, etc. Don't withdraw because ordinary players are not strong enough to play. That makes sense, but it doesn't, it's a ranking of how pros (top players) actually react to character strength.
After sorting out the competition in the past four months
, Ken's score is about 400, JP is 364, and Luke is 326. The gap between Ken and Luke is actually not small. Currently, the only one who can compete with Ken is JP.
Nemo's hatred towards Zangief is always funny... that last part of the video is too good since he got the devastating combo of Zangief and laggy connections 😂

バクステだって相手が直接攻撃していたらダメージ5000とかいくわけで、常にやれる行動ちゃうしね
