@@tyty0071 at least hes still putting in insane amounts of labbing even without assistance from fans. This combo is almost never going to be used unless he perfected this combo entirely to a point where he is able to not drop it at all. The punish counter state isnt the hardest thing to obtain, its the execution of the whole thing

Daigo only did those because really the easier routes were so much worse in sf4 compared to doing 1f links. @@cykablyat6348 yes. Due to a lack of visual clarity on 1f walks. Though typically microwalk combos are not 1f. More like 2-3f usually depending on the exact link you are going for. As I believe it takes more than 1f of microwalk for the game to recognize you are moving forwards and award you with drive meter

It's the microwalks talked about in the video. You get drive gauge for walking forward to encourage aggression, and since you can perform drive moves no matter the cost as long as you have even 1 pixel of it, you can microwalk a few frames then spend everything but that last bit, which you use to perform your final drive/OD move.
e.g. dr cancel costs 3 bars. DR (3/6) microwalk to 3.000000001/6 (not a realistic number but just an example), drive rush to be at 0.000000001/6 bars, drive rush again (0/6)
