It's a good thing the dogs haven't used anything attached to the car as a chew toy...seat belts are tempting from what I've seen. A great revival of that interior..the steering wheel was epic...usually the material cracks or has other issues...and as old as it is and as nice as the door bottom edges are i bet it's garage kept...clean rig!!

What a transformation! Do you take a quad zero steel wool to clean the exhaust tips at the end? A very small touch that customers always notice.

Isn't your new car wash workplace's roof big and suitable for solar panels? That combined with some powerwalls or other kinds of power saving battery walls should do it. If not there's multiple options for power generators like fuel generators and E-Generators.

To EVERYONE: I bought the Lily brush and it was the best investment I've ever made. I have 10 cats and use this everyday. It cleans my furniture so well. I've had it for almost three years and it still works as good as the day I bought it. I even use it in my car after trips to the vets.

The day will come when people will get sick of SUVs and will want cars again. I recently had to replace my '08 Pontiac G5 with a Buick Encore because it got T-boned and totaled. It only had a little over 23K miles on it too.

My favorite details of yours are when you work on an older (15+ year) vehicle, and this video did not disappoint! Unbelievable transformation of a 22 year old car--the hairy carpet and the filthy leather seats in particular. Oh, and the steering wheel! I thought it was wear before you pointed out that it was just dirt buildup. The wheel before looked like it was wearing bronzer and now it's perfect and back to black. And the back seat especially looks so beautiful that I hope the owner invests in some kind of seat cover or fitted pet blanket to keep the leather looking like it does now. Luckily, the dog's nails didn't tear the leather. Another perfect transformation--perfect to watch on a cold Friday afternoon and very satisfying as always.

That Lilly Brush is still one of my best investments we’ve ever made. It’s lasted 4 years and it’s still going pretty strong.
Does it work on human hair? I have 3 girls the hair is so hard to get out.
@@helenfitch3440 You can use it in your home as well. Get's pet hair off furniture. My bother's daschund has long hair and it is a great tool for that. Cleans up the couch fast.

Life is weird, im a huge Nascar fan, and yesterday i saw a black Monte Carlo outside the backdoor of our warehouse at my work, and it made me think about how the older generation nascars actually looked alot like the car they were meant to be. today i pass that car again, get to the office, look at my phone and out comes a video of the detail geek with guess what? A Monte Carlo
Edit: and on top of that he mentions its connection with nascar and the teams that ran it, what a cool guy!

So many reviles on this video! The fur was enough to make a baby blanket! The way the steamer and cleaners brought the leather seat back was exceptional! I am going to watch this video multiple times! Mitch, you are an expert of your craft!
My mom had one of these when I was growing up! She got it November 2004 and it lasted till a few months before I got my license. From what I understand the transmissions on these is garbage.

Interior has come up beautiful but the rust is taking hold on the outside and won't last long in your climate even the dogs hold there noses before cleaning!

Awesome job on the Monte! I have a white 2001 SS, but with cloth seats. Used to cart my dalmatians around in it, but the seats never got as filthy or hairy as those leather ones because I always kept them covered, carpet too. Dogs no longer ride in the Monte because I bought an Equinox for a dog car because I can fit crates in it for transporting them around. Not giving up my Monte though. It's my fun car!

Dude you mentioned about NASCAR. My first favorite driver growing up was Jeff Gordon. The very first Chevys I saw in NASCAR was the SS. Currently I’m a huge fan of Kyle Larson but the Chevys that Hendrick Motorsports has now I believe are the Cameros.

Jeff Gordon: well apparently Kyle Larson told me that he’s been helping both you and Mitch the CEO of Detail Geek. Anyways we had a Chevy race car from a local dealer that needs a detail. I already spoke to Kyle that it’s gonna be at Mitch’s detail studio.

As Kyle Larson pulled up he was ready to help out detail.
Kyle Larson: what’s up Will?
Me: not much. Just got a call from Jeff Gordon. So you ready?
Kyle Larson: sure am. Well both him and Mr H we’re curious about you and Mitch. They seem pretty interested.

Mitch and Mike greet us.

Me: he did funny thing is he was my first favorite driver.

Mitch: ok guys the Chevy test car is here. So they gave it to a dog owner.
Me: oh my. So I can see it needs a wash how about the interior?
Mitch: oh yeah. It’s got a ton of dog hair and it needs a deep clean.

Me: I’m a bit nervous but you guys are right let’s see how this goes.

As we begin the detail Mitch and Liv Morgan rinsed the car making sure not missing any spots including the tires and wheel welds and front grill are rinsed well. Then they cleaned the tires while I got the foam cannons filled.
Me: ok guys foam cannons are ready.
Mitch: nice job Will thanks.
Liv Morgan: man you’re fast Will.
As Liv Morgan and Mitch covered the car in thick foam I used the detail brush to get the hard to reach areas and then Kyle Larson and Alexa Bliss washed the car with wash mits making sure to scrub it well. Once the car was scrubbed well Mitch and Liv Morgan rinsed the car and I call Mike to dry the car.
Me: LORD MIKE TIME TO DRY!!!
Mike: COMING KING WILL!!!
Mitch: oh Will 😆😂😂😂
Stone Cold Steve Austin: OH HELL YEAH!!!!
John Cena: wow the exterior looks great.
Onto the interior
Me: looks like we should clean the floor mats and get the trash out first.
Mitch: I’ll get the floor mats.
Alexa Bliss: we’ll get the trash out Will.
Me: thanks guys I’ll get the vacuum out. Kyle you got the lily brush?
Kyle Larson: I do.
Me: awesome.
As Mitch cleaned the floor mats Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss removed the trash. After that I vacuumed the seats and carpets while Kyle Larson used the lily brush to get the dog hair stuck deep into the seats and carpets. Once I got that vacuumed up I even vacuumed the interior trim after brushing the dust off.
Me: holy moly.
Mitch: Wow Will you and Kyle got that looking great. Ok Alexa let’s extract.
Alexa Bliss: ready.
Alexa Bliss and Mitch took turns extracting the seats and carpets it wasn’t too bad after they finished.
Me: eh no bad smell.
Mitch: that’s good.
Me: we still have to steam clean.
Mitch: ok Liv and Alexa let’s do it.
Alexa Bliss: totally ahead of you Mitch.
Liv Morgan: ready to help out.
Mitch Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan steam cleaned the seats and the interior trim plus the pedals it was looking much better. Then Mitch conditioned the seats and used aerospace 303 to dress the interior.
Me: wow guys that looks much better. Ok ladies let’s clay the paint.
Liv Morgan: ok Will.
Alexa Bliss: totally ahead of you Will.
After the clay step
Me: holy crap!!!!
Alexa Bliss: Damn!!!
Liv Morgan: woah.
Mitch: Wow thanks guys. Ok Kyle can you wax the Chevy? Will you mind cleaning the glass? I have to dress the tires.
Me: sure Mitch.
Kyle Larson: I’m on it.
Kyle Larson waxed the car I cleaned the glass and Mitch dressed the tires. We got done in about 9-10 hours.
Mitch: that looks way better.
Me: Nice job guys.

I owned a Monte Carlo SS. The Tasmanian Devil addition. I was 375 of 600. This made me miss my car. I got tired of the expensive upkeep of the vehicle. Many things needed fixed. Factory problems. Great car. Would love to see them make it again, but dependable.
My worst nightmare I’m so allergic I’d probably die from sitting in that car 😂

Great job! Honestly I was expecting way more hair though…. that’s barely a week’s worth of shedding for those breeds lol, and mud especially in the winter. I’m a dog groomer so I’m sure my frame of reference is skewed because I see have seen A LOT of hair. Not saying that having a filthy car is acceptable, but it could have been soooo much worse (thankfully for everyone’s health, it wasn’t)
