Awesome, thank you so much for this video! This is exactly what I was looking for. The KMR Spectra is definitely on my to buy list for this year....I was thinking to buy the new Shadow 2 Orange OR, but then came to the KMR....which is in my opinion the better (and cheaper) choice 🙂
@@paulhagiantoniou530 I will get mine soon, so would like to learn how to switch the mag release to left-handed shooters... also what holster can I get? best regards!!!
Do you have any info on the Spectra S? Will that one have the same grip ergonomics of the Umbra but in 5''. Afaik, the regular Umbra and Spectra have different frames that fit hands differently. EDIT: From the frame names, it should be the same W-02 frame like the umbra! Nice!
Stand by, I will get the correct information shortly. But I believe the S is exactly the same frame as the spectra and Umbra except for the grip being smaller for small hands. The spectra and umbra are identical except for the umbra being half an inch shorter
@@paulhagiantoniou530 I was also told that the grip is smaller than the umbra. I did not pay enough attention to it at the fair. Maybe that is another option with the right grips. The regular spectra is not the same frame ( L-02 frame). The Umbra and Cuda have the same W-02 frame afaik. The Spectra S seems to share that W-02 frame but the reach is different. Maybe they recessed the grips further?
@@onpsxmember This is from the factory “The W-02 SPECTRA S has W-02 frame. But it's not the standard W-02 frame like other W-02 models. It has modified dimensions under beaver tail to get shorter trigger reach distance. So this model is suitable for people with smaller hands.”
@@paulhagiantoniou530 Thank you! How do you reach the factory easily? Sponsored shooter? I can only get some info through the local importer. I hope they got a good nitriding guy to keep the hardness and shape they wanted. Had no luck finding information on the KMR specifiic Holosun EPS. I wonder why the Spectra S got those irons on it vs. the Umbra X.
Hello, please inform me about metal protection, it is supposed to protect cerakota. On one video from Bulgaria I saw that the protective layer is peeling off.? Thank you in advance.
As of the last two deliveries we’ve had they were Cerakote finished. The latest production will be Nitride finished. My personal Spectra now has just over 3000 rounds shot and due to my holster there is a little wear on the trigger guard, however zero peeling of the finish.
@@daliborjovic1604 There is no doubt that the CZ Shadow 2 orange is a fantastic gun! KMR actually makes it for CZ. What you don’t get in the orange is a bull barrel which significantly reduces muzzle flip, the slide to frame fit on the KMR is the best quality I’ve ever seen as well as the barrel to slide fit. There is absolutely zero movement, the tolerances are exceptional. With the KMR you also get the barrel stabilisation system which is the brass ring barrier between the barrel and slide, for under 20 euro this part can be changed within seconds. The KMR is also a full 5 inches (Spectra)
Hello, just to let you know that I bought an l-02 spectra, excellent performance, but it gets extremely hot, I experienced this for the first time with a gun. I fired a hundred rounds and it was hot, only the handle was not. And it cools down slowly, I was afraid it would catch fire. Have you had such an experience?
Congratulations on your purchase! Glad you liked the performance. Today I shot 600 rounds and yes the gun was extremely hot and this is normal. It won’t catch fire 🔥
@@daliborjovic1604 My Shadow 2 also got very hot when training, I assume the bull barrel takes longer to get heated but holds the heat longer too. That’s why I think it’s fluted
My orange doesn't heat up like this one, it's the first time I see that the gun can be almost all hot. I thought that because of the massive pipe and the grooves on it, it would be more difficult to heat. I hope the constructors are aware of that.

@@mikaboom123 Hello brother, thank you for your comment! All the CZ orange models are fantastic guns and actually made by KMR for CZ. As you know both the Orca and the CZ TS2 orange have bull barrels, the orange has no bushing and locks up on the slide, where the Orca has the brass ring bushing that prevents slide to barrel wear as well as the brass ring being free floating allowing for better accuracy. The ring cost less than 20 euro to replace if it gets worn and can be replaced in under a minute. Both great guns but the KMR definitely has the edge on the TSO.

it can shoot precisely with pure lead bullets
If they are well made and sizes, lubed absolutely yes

KMR currently purchase blanks and finish them to their spec. Soon they will be making their own barrels from scratch in house.
