Visit India - Travel day Udaipur to Delhi to Agra

- Hello friends! In this video I continue my visit in India with friends Sri and Vini. This is a travel day where we leave Udaipur and fly back to Delhi, then drive to Agra 220 km away, which takes about 4 hours.
In India it is affordable to hire a car and driver, especially with three people. Vini made arrangements ahead of time for us to have a driver take us from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur and then back to Delhi. Our driver, Praveen Yadav drove us between cities and then drove us to the historical sites each day.
Over the several days we got to talk while driving. Praveen speaks Hindi and speaks conversational English. For more complicated communication we used our cell phones with ‘talk to text’ which sometimes helped for clarity.
Praveen is a very patient and safe driver, and a very nice person. If you are planning a trip to India in the Delhi area including the Golden Triangle cities of Agra and Jaipur, I would recommend hiring him as a driver. He will help make your trip very enjoyable. Praveen helped us by making recommendations for restaurants and suggesting local places we might want to visit.
You are welcome to contact Praveen Yadav on WhatsApp at +91 88269 83546
You can text to him in English or use google translate English to Hindi, take a screen shot, and text it to him.
Thanks for joining us on our trip! If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below! Hope you're having a great day- Jennifer

You have visited a lot of places! thank you for sharing, have a nice day, Jennifer!❤❤💕💕
Hi, yes we did, thanks!! We had two weeks in India, but I wish we had much longer!! :) Have a great week! Jen
Cool pictures of the Taj Mahal. What an epic trip you had.
@@MinuteontheMountain Hi and thanks John! Seeing the Taj Mahal in the evening light was definitely a highlight. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and say hello! Wishing you and your family a blessed day! 🤗 Jen
Nice one Jen. It's nice to see what the journey was like on the roads as we got the train. 🚂
Awesome, thanks! If I go again I'd like to do some train travel too!! :)
Great times...looking forward to the next part now, hope you get your sunrise.!!
Hi Steven, thanks! Yes we did, it was wonderful! (next video tomorrow 👌) Have a great day- hope you’re having nice weather! 😄☀☀☀
So many motorcycles, and the 2 little kids squished between the adults crazy! How beautiful is the Taj Mahal!
We saw all kinds of combinations of passengers and freight on the scooters and motorcycles! I couldn’t tell, but I’m guessing they have a longer seat than what we see here. Hopefully they don’t have too far to travel! O yes, that evening visit to the Taj Mahal was special! Thanks Dyan!! 👌🛺🛵🏍️ beep beep 😄
Excellent sharing dear friend
Really enjoyed watching
Keep up the good work
Stay blessed and connected 🌺🌺
Thanks my friend! You too, have a blessed day! :)
Awesome footage from the plane and I couldn't believe the number of bikes at the airport! The Taj Mahal was awesome looking! great video Jen!
Hi Jim- it was so fun to have a window seat and fly in the day when we could see the farmland and housing! Wasn’t that surprising to see all the bikes- at first I thought about rainy weather, like we have here, but then I realized it doesn’t rain as much there. I’d definitely have a scooter if I lived there. It was very special to see the Taj Mahal that night- not sure if you could hear the prayers, it was quite beautiful. Big thanks!! 🤗 Jen 🌻🌻🌻
เพลิดเพลินไปกับการเดินทางไกล 👍👍👍

You are so welcome! Thanks friend! 👌🛺🛺
Your latest episodes are simply breathtaking! Fantastic atmosphere 🙏🙏
@@ervinslens Many thanks Ervin! India is wonderful! 😄🌻☀️🇮🇳🧡💚
Very interesting! Have a beautiful vacation!
Thanks my friend! 😄🇮🇳🛺
Triple speed bumps and lots of horn honking! LOL Interesting to see the area and you drive by. Switched to Orange Fanta. I'm guessing they don't have your brand there. Wow, I have never seen that many motorcycles in one place all at once before. Impressive! No trucks, I would be let down on the rental options. Haha. Fun to see the travel day. Have a wonderful day.
@@Packsalot Haha, I had as much fun on the travel days as on the touring days. During the trip I was not drinking any caffeine, and so the cold orange Fantas were perfect! If I lived there I would have a scooter for sure, best way to get around!! Thanks
Steve!! 🛺🏍️🛵🚴 beep beep
Very nice video!
Thank you! :)
Beautiful tour! Friendly greetings from Palma de Mallorca! Full enjoyed!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! ☀️🛺🇮🇳🧡

Great views as you drive to your destination. So much car honking. 🤣
Great views on your flight.
Like the Banana Chips.
Crazy to see more than two on a motor bike. That would be illegal in Australia.
and there you have it Taj Mahal. ♥
Thank you for the ride. Have a great day Jennifer. 🙏🏼🤠👍🏼
Hi Jospeh! The travel days in India were just as exciting as the touring days! There are so many people to see, all busy going about life! 💕💕👍😄 Thanks for watching and saying hello! Cheers, Jen
Nice travel vlog
@@itsallaboutjesus777 Thanks friend! 😄🌻🌻🌻
Very nice India! Thank you for sharing.
Good morning. Thank you! ☀️🇮🇳🧡💚
MMM Banana chips sound so yummy! Thanks for the tour! Great to see places I have never been. Such close calls with the motorbikes! They all drive them well!! I always like seeing the view from a jet! Thanks Jennifer!! As always I am way behind on YT!
Hi Brenda- me too, hard to keep up with YT, thanks so much for watching! We had some very nice flights, smooth, and I loved looking out the window. So fun to learn about this a,asking country- thanks! ☀️🌻🌻🌻 Jen
Lovely travel day. Love the lush green mountains there. When you were taking off on your flight, it felt like we were taking off with you. Wonderfully filmed. ✈️ Do your friends live in India, or do they live in America and are just visiting India as well? Wow. Lots of motorcycles. 😮 Those banana chips look good. Love the ending scene of the Taj Mahal. ❤
Hi Rachel- our friends live in California, but they have friends and family in India. It was super helpful that Vini speaks Hindi- if I had more time I’d study and learn some too. She actually knows 2 other languages from India, plus English. Super cool! It was so nice to fly in the day and have the window seat… back home I usually take the aisle, here it was so great to see the countryside. Big thanks again for all your time and support! ☀️☀️Jen 😄
So wonderful tour
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks DJ! 🛺🛵🏍️

Thanks for taking us along in this road trips. Its quiet a long trip with lovely and patiece people.
Good tasting banana chips. Thanks Jenn
Hi Lydia- how are you? O my, it was a long day, but it was great to see all the other people and what the roads were like. We all had a good time and those banana chips were tasty! Great to hear from you, Jen 😄🌻🌻🌻🛺🚗 beep beep
Thank you Jennifer for taking us on this journey with you. I have enjoyed the sites my friend and just wish you safe travels.
Thanks Tony! Much appreciated!
I’ve never been to India, so thank you for letting us experience it with you virtually! The landscape views were incredible, and the bustling streets, shops and swift traffic were fascinating to watch. The aerial shots were stunning, and I couldn't help but notice all the motorcycles at the airport. The views of the Taj Mahal were simply breathtaking. Enjoy every moment of your trip Jennifer.
Thanks so much Gasper! This was my first visit, and it was everything I had hoped for! I learned lots of history and had a wonderful experience. Motorcycles and scooters seem like a very efficient way to get around in India- that was fun to see so many at the airport. This was our first view of the Taj Mahal, we got to go back for a tour the first thing the next morning.
I’m very happy you enjoyed the video, many thanks for watching! ☀️🇮🇳🧡🛺🛵🏍️
Thanks for sharing sister
Thank you sister! :)
Wow - what a busy, colorful, sound-filled place! So many motorcycles parked there at the airport - if I parked one there I would probably never find it again. The Taj Mahal looked beautiful and the night sounds were nice - sounded like some music in the distance and then a lot of insects? What a fun adventure!
Thanks for watching all these videos! 🙌🙌 We were very fortunate, as you saw, to view the Taj Mahal from several different viewpoints and times of day. I think we were hearing the prayers from the Mosque that is adjacent to the Taj. They were coming over a loud speaker I believe, not sure if the camera sound picked it up very well… the combination of seeing the Taj in the dim light and hearing the prayers was inspiring! Thanks! 🙌🙌🇮🇳🧡
@@JenniferLupine I thought it was prayers, but couldn't tell for sure. I'm loving these videos. I have always wanted to go to India, and now I want to even more.
@ I hope some day you can! You’ll love it. I think it’s maybe hard to plan on your own, but if you could find a tour I’d say that’s the way to go!! The people are all helpful and amazing, if you’re brave, (which you are) I’m sure you could plan your own trip and have a fun time too! 🇮🇳🇮🇳
I was so surprised at how many bikes there were. I enjoyed seeing what your travel day was like.
@@hikingoutdoorfamily Hi Sarah - the travel days were really interesting and fun, lots of interesting and beautiful things to see along the way. The bikes at the airport seemed to go on and on!! Imagine the streets 😄!! Big thanks! 🌻🌻🌻
It's quite a way to get from Udaipur to Agra. Beautiful to see Taj Mahal in the evening and looking forward seeing it on the sinrise 👍
Good morning! I’ll have to admit I enjoyed the travel days as well as the touring days. It was great to see all the modes of transportation! Thanks! Jen 😄☀️🚗🛺🛵🏍️
Looks like you're having a wonderful overseas adventure.
@@hikingwithjackieboy Hi Kevin! We really enjoyed seeing the rural areas and what it’s like driving in India. Big thanks!! 😄 Jen 🌻🌻🌻
Hi Jen it's so good to have the talk to text facility in order to communicate with each other 😃 This was brilliant, fascinating to see India through your eyes. Soo many motorbikes there and horn honking haha, it makes sense why they do it though. Loved the mountains as you drove to the airport and I loved the footage from the plane but wow that was a massive amount of motorbikes at the airport 😯 Those apartments with clothes drying outside were fun to see, I would be too scared that they would blow away ! the Taj Mahal, so beautiful across the river at night. You had an amazing experience here 👏👍~ Anna
Good morning Anna! We sure saw some beautiful places and people in India! I got a little feeling of what life is like there. Wasn’t that fun to see the apartments and all the motorbikes/ scooters. 😄It was very special to see the Taj Mahal at night. We got up eerily the next morning and visited in the daylight. (Next video, lol) I’m really happy that you enjoyed the video! Hugs - Jen. 🤗☀️🇮🇳🧡💚🛺🛵🏍️
@JenniferLupine Sooo interesting, I'll look forward to your next video 😃hugs back 🫂💞
Thank you for sharing, Jennifer your travel updates make me want to travel so much ~ you are definitely making the most of this trip ~ do you think you would ever want to go back to India and see more or travel to a different country?
Thanks David, Yes, I’d love to go back to India and see more! I have to see if Steve wants to go with me next time and see where he wants to go. Maybe he’ll go with me to India if it’s not too hot! 😄😆🇮🇳🧡💚 I hope you can go travel more- I loved meeting new people and seeing how they live! ❤️
@@JenniferLupine sometimes my wife and i have friendly disagreements on where to go ~ either the same country to see more or to a new country ~ I usually like going to new countries! Unless it's Taiwan, I could live in Taiwan!
Great 😊new support here 😊
@@MooreMusic12 Hello, thank you! 😄
Hi, Jen! Transfer day, experiencing car driving in India 😂 and looking forward to Taj Mahal! Well done! Cheers, Christiane and Werner
O yes! The traveling portion of the trip was just as fun as the touring! Big thanks, Jen 😄☀️🇮🇳🧡🚗🛺🏍️🛵 beep beep!
Agra was our last stop on our own trip. We did not take any internal flights but were driven between places. I was fascinated by the ever animated street scenes and the wonderful places we passed through. It did look a bit murky as you landed in Delhi and it looked as if you were feeling the humidity as you left the air con in the airport. Those evening images across the river to the Taj looked wonderful. Really exciting place to be.
Thanks Robert and Ivor- yes, it sure as hot and humid during our trip! Still, I loved the experience just needed to pay attention and take care with the heat. Did you take any train trips in India? If I ever get to go back that’s one thing I’d like to try. Thanks again and Happy New Year! 😄🎆🎆🎆
@@JenniferLupine We have thought about that. It really would be a lot of fun. We would love to go back. We booked out Tour through a Delhi agent and it all went so well. We really loved the whole feel of India and its real life feel.
@@IvorsTravels Me too! Since I traveled with friends who are from India (but live in the US) they were able to plan the trip - If I go again I’d use a Delhi agent too. Do you have a recommendation? Do you speak any foreign languages? It really helped us in many circumstances that Vini speaks Hindi, made things go very smoothly!!
I enjoyed the trip. Very interesting. The views from the plane were very nice. It would be hard to remember where I parked my motorcycle at that airport!
😆 It sure would be! I’d have to put a unique flag on mine or something. But if I lived there I would definitely have one! 👌😄
Driving on Asian roads is always interesting. I admire how they manage the traffic, which is a bit chaotic for us. I'm glad you had a good driver so you could enjoy the ride. With so many bikes at the airport, how do they even find theirs 😄 And finally Taj Mahal - beautiful 🤩 ❤️
Hi Vedrana! I totally agree, there’s a whole lot of traffic on the roads but they have a flow of movement that works well! It was quite special to see the Taj Mahal that night, great atmosphere, definitely a highlight! Many thanks!! 😄🇮🇳🧡
Hey there Jenni, great footage as always! Like #1 is from me! See you around :D
Awesome, thanks!! Glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, see you!! :)
O I spotted the International school along the highway, also a little girl on the motorcycle with probably her parents, I wish she has a helmet! Ah, banana chips with salt and black pepper sounds good! L12
Hi Fanda! Hope you’re having a nice weekend! Thanks for joining us- I appreciate you spending time watching these videos. Yes, I wish she did too. I was told that starting about 2 years ago they started encouraging scooter and motorcycle riders to wear helmets, and many do now… hopefully they will get more for the children. The banana chips were very thin, and good! Thanks again, Jen 😄🌻🌻🌻
Hi Jennifer
Certainly, I hear a lot of honking from the town through to the mountain roads.
Now I see a lot of small motorcycles, wow
At least, you ride a transportation with comfortable air-conditioning.
t has been a long day trip. Have a restful evening, Jennifer
O yes, there's lots of honking, but once you're driving there it seems quite normal. It's just part of how the driver's communicate with each other, and it's friendly. The trucks actually say on the back - please honk! Thanks so much Ms K7S!! Jen
@@JenniferLupine hahahahahahha、I actually imagine hundreds of bikes in China. hahahha honking at cars? hehehe. wonderful trip.
@ ☺️ Thanks!
Opps, I think I am watching them out of sinc but as always I am way behind. You sure are putting the miles in, not only on the road but in the air too. Any Harley Davison's in that pack of bikes? Cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN Hi Alan! We put in quite a few miles, but none on a scooter or motorcycle! I looked for Harleys since Steve used to have one, didn’t notice and in this lot… lots of Honda Heros!! Cheers!! 😄🌻🌻🌻
OMG, the traffic is crazy! Were there people riving the wrong way too?
How do you find your bike in the parking? LOL😂
It's cool you got to see the Taj Mahal😃
@@agesadventures Hi Age- yep, the streets are full of traffic! Once in awhile they scoot along the shoulder the wrong way- we didn’t see anyone get upset, they just went around them! I know- that lot was jam packed with bikes. It was super cool to see the Taj Mahal at night across the river. We went to see it in the daylight first thing the next morning. 😉👌 Wow!! Thanks!!
How did you find the prices of local flight within country? The flights I took within Thailand, Peru and Ecuador were always so amazingly inexpensive...but maybe not always the most reliable...as one flight in Peru was cancelled only because it was only half full and so the plane didn't leave until its next departure time some 12 hours later...all happening with the actual plane sitting waiting. lol Stuff happens and you just have to roll with it! lol Seeing all those motorbikes, I'm thinking I sure hope you stuck with them 3 or 4 wheel taxis and didn't take a ride for your life on the back of one of them! lol Lots of amazing memories!!
@@wendingourway Hi and a very good evening to you! Yes, the domestic flights were a very affordable price. Our flights all left on time and were totally full! They weren’t too long so we just had drinks, no meals. We flew on two domestic carriers - Vistara and Indigo, both were very good. Yep, stuff happens … it’s good to have a book along and extra patience! For sure, no motorbikes and no street food either. O, so cool that you visited Thailand, Peru and Ecuador. I haven’t been to South America. What was your favorite thing there?
@@JenniferLupine Wow, that's a hard one to narrow down...umm...Machu Picchu and being able to visit an area considered one of the gateways to the Amazon.
@ Machu Picchu, excellent!
