such a disappointing interview. there's no strong moral to this story? well yeah maybe it can't be said in a sentence, but she's either blowing off the question or is engaging with the film in disappointingly shallow way. i have a feeling it's the former, bc her acting in this film and others shows her ability to feel the nuances of the piece, even though she maybe can't be bothered to give an honest answer to any old journalist. it could've been bad pr for her to be as honest in an interview as this movie is with it's take on taboos, desperation and the nature of fictions and narratives. this bleak stance isn't something that many people will give any thought unless presented as palatable entertainment.
she's brilliant regardless, and did very well with the role. though id more like to hear the thoughts of the actress behind ronnie's mother or the director of the film
