Great review! I have a 2017 540i, and I agree with your list. My opinion, purchasing this car makes much more sense to purchase Certified Pre-Owned with low miles and long warranty.

Great review! The kick is a straight motion IN and OUT. Will open as well as CLOSE the truck 🙂 I hate the lack of rear heated seats in my 540 too.

GREAT Review!
Trading my wife's Jaguar XF, and don't want another Jag, since they've stopped making the XJ...we can no longer have His/Her vehicles.
I've been reviewing Audi A6, Mercedes E Class, Tesla S Model - and other than not being electric, I think the 5 Series may be our selection.

I feel you on the trunk kick assist. It only works for me 20% of the time. And apple car play makes the music go on and off for some strange reason. Great review!

It’s definitely a solid vehicle. I just always get very irked by the fact that BMW makes everything an option.

One sentence in regards to the options: I think, for a premium car it’s nice, to choose, which options are useful for myself, and which not. So I can decide what I want, want I need and what I can effort. Also if I want to drive a premium car, and cannot effort all options, I can drive it. If everything is included, the base price would be much higher.

You can get a 4 zone AC and heated rear seats. Optional, sure. But at least its possible.
