I don’t know about all that.... I recently got into a 20’ Shoalwater and am finding out that this thing can go pretty much anywhere a Dargel or Shallow Sport or Illusion can go, and do so without beating you to death.... Don’t sleep on the Shoalwater, it’s a SKINNY running boat for sure......
Robert Lombardo this was in 6” hard sand bottom... I literally got out and measured with check it stick.. 21’ dargel would never get out of that... this boat was amazing... got out of 6” and would run 69-71 mph and also handled rough water excellent
@@SouthTexasLivin I realize your comment is two years old but I want to give people looking into this boat some realistic numbers. I have a 2017 21' shoalwater with a 250 pro xs, identical to this one. Yes it does run skinny. No, not as skinny as an illusion but close. Also nowhere near 70 mph. Top speed with a Bravo XC 20 is around 52-55 depending on load. Going up in prop may gain you a few mph but still nowhere close to 70.
Shallow sport quality is by far better. I compared all when i purchased mine. Haynie, dargel, mowdy. Tran, shoal, etc. And holeshots very good in very shallow water. And also looks better . And is made with better quality material, like gas tank, floor finish, hatches etc.. look and compare for yourself
@@jasonsimonsen3256 yes when winds are over 15mph in port Mansfield, coming out the harbor it does get ugly but you work yourself through the chop and into the flats , but that is with other boats as well. Ive seen boats coming back in to port and they jump very ugly and get very soaked
@@vansaquaescape2514 yes , ive seen haynies and they look like awesome boats , probably my next boat. I am looking st the 23 cat or super cat. They look like awesome boats, i want something i can go offshore maybe around 20 miles out and haynie looks like a good boat
why tear up the environment trying to show off just how shallow the boat will go; ever wonder how long it takes to rebuild / restore our water environment?

definitely a better finish but I have buddies who switched to shoalwaters and majeks because they aren't as heavy as the shallow sports.
I understand you're bias because you own one but let's be real for a minute. That shallow sport beats your teeth out in any chop.

My Haynie beats a shoalwater all day in chop. I have ran mine and taken off in about 9 inches. Don’t sleep on a Haynie Either.

Aye where tha fuk you going lmao
Why do this to $80k boat
should of bought a dargel or shallow sport or majek
Shoalwater will run skinnier than all of them. the majek redfish lines is awesome too from what I have heard.
