  • This was a wild one I did not expect! During EVO I ended up being pulled onto Riots media setup to fight Esfand and Unroolie alongside my duo 2EZ in some 2XKO / Project L.
    It was a really fun experience and wanted to tell my story of how it all went down!

    A brief summary of the video - Don't let social anxiety stop you from having cool experiences. The FGC is an amazing, and super welcoming scene - go out to your locals and tournaments to have a dope time with great people!

      Yeah. That’s what I did a couple weekends back. Went to a local Smash tournament. Didn’t win. But it was fun playing with other people.

      Oh for sure man, glad to hear it! It can also be a great way to improve and kind of learn from the other strong players around you too so it's a win-win@@JcgLounge

    i love how fixated you're trying to not freaked out in the footage, but i do want you to get more recognition especially from Riot because as of for now you're maybe the first Project L focused content creator ever.
    Sooner or Later Bruiser Minion will be big,especially for those who were searching for Project L focused channel, and i'm all here for it Brother.
    Keep up the good work, i'll support this channel in the best way i could do.

      LOL Brother you aren't wrong... Especially because I have a tendency of making funny faces and getting way too into it when I play games on stick, I was trying to chill a bit. Thank you man, it really means a lot. It's all been surreal to have even the amount of support I've gotten already and I really just am so beyond pumped for the future of this game.

      You deserve all the support you got brother, you made awesome content and you deliver it in an awesome way too, Fighting Games in general seems to entering it's new era again and i'm liking where it's going rn.
      Fighting games is fun and that's why we love fighting games.

    • @BruiserMinion
      @BruiserMinion  11 месяцев назад +1

      Well it's deserved or not it's very much appreciated! And seriously it's starting to feel like the FGC is about to explode over the next year or two. Soooo many insane huge games coming soon, and even things like Esfand and other huge creators getting more and more interested in the genre I think is a recipe for a full-on Golden Era. @@terrybohart

      Part if it was also me trying way too hard at a game I was in fact bad at ... but yea true! Also. I did hit EZ with the handshake Mix-up too which he called "the FGC classic" haha

Everyone was so cool about everything, even bumping into other content creators or just having chats with random people in lines it's clear there is so much passion for Fighting Games in the scene and everyone is welcome. If you can, I strongly encourage going!

  • @Vedinian
    @Vedinian 11 месяцев назад +2

    That's awesome hearing that as an "anonymous" person you still felt good vibes from the community there. I only hope the community keeps at it as the game approaches and after. Also, something I didn't know, at 5:47 EZ tags you in even thought you are knocked down. I didn't know that could work, pretty cool.

    • @BruiserMinion
      @BruiserMinion  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yea exactly! Everyone is welcome man, the FGC truly is something special IMO. And that is really wild actually too.... I had no idea. I've been combing through all sorts of Project L footage it's really interesting to catch little interactions like this that will be good to know when the game drops

    • @Vedinian
      @Vedinian 11 месяцев назад

      @@BruiserMinion Especially with Project L potentially bringing in many new faces, even content creators that didn't play fighting games may give this a shot (which could bring in their fanbase in too). Don't know if you know of this already, but I found this to be pretty cool: You can continue doing Yasuo's rekka after you tag on the first strike. I believe Rooflemonger talked about that in a video. Some wild stuff in this game, and this is only 4 characters so far. I wonder how crazy Illaoi's gonna be with utilizing Nagakabouros.

    • @BruiserMinion
      @BruiserMinion  11 месяцев назад +1

      AND Free to play. yea... this game is gonna be huge. lol Really as a whole that's been kind of the shocking thing now that we finally have a ton of gameplay and know how the game plays. Everyone thought it was going to be some baby game made for casuals because they cut motion inputs... but it turns out it's actually a super degenerate tag game with even more depth in small character/ system interactions than even some other tag games. lol @@Vedinian

    • @Vedinian
      @Vedinian 11 месяцев назад

      @@BruiserMinion I'm low key kinda excited that it has no motion inputs and this game looks to be the epitome of 'simple to learn and hard to master'. There was a line that was said during the Redbull after hours event that a dev (I think) said, it was something like this, "I can tell who's playing the character by the combo that they do. Every Yasuo on the team has a different combo." (Can't remember verbatim, but it was something like that.) If that stays the case by launch, that would be a crazy amount of freedom.
      Speaking of Yasuo, you were kinda on the money with your Yasuo video pertaining his E is league. It is essentially a command dash, like you said. Kudos. ^.^ Also side note, seeing the gameplay realized now, it just makes me think of the potential roster in a new light. Also you were kinda spot on

    • @BruiserMinion
      @BruiserMinion  11 месяцев назад

      @@Vedinian Yea I agree, I think it just fits here - and the game being built from the ground up to not have motion inputs makes a big difference. Lowering the floor while still having an insane ceiling is EXACTLY what I want, and I especially think there will be a lot of depth in character expression because they all feel super different and deep but all really cool so far. And thanks, man! I got some things right, but overall, they blew it out of the park. Better than I even hoped with for Yasuo. he felt sooo good to play I loved his kit, and I wasn't even utilizing all he had to offer by any means.

    i was just randomly thinking and came up with an idea for content for you. with each announced champ for project L you could do a breakdown on their moveset titled as "Riot put Yasuo in project L (and here's how they did it)" for example. idk just a thought

    • @BruiserMinion
