Would have been nice if this group wore period uniforms either Prussian from the years of 1736 thru 1810 or British uniforms of that same period. What most people do not realize is that The Prussians and the English has a common bond in their rulers. The English Parliament had enough of the Stuarts and so sought to get a new ruling family into the throne and so they went to the House of Hanover and thus was born the thrones of George 1st, George 2nd and George 3rd. Even Adolf Hitler was an Anglophile and didn't want a war with Great Britain.
Yes very true .The Kaiser was related to Queen Victoria. Germany was on good terms with England , and For all his later faults Hitler admired the English.
Speaking German! I very much doubt it. We had millions of indians and Africans to conscript if we wanted to but we kept it voluntary in the colonies. You forget that most British are Anglo Saxons and English is a West Saxon Language. The Guals kept the Roman Legions on their toes and even prevented them from occupying what they called Hibernia. The Brigantes tribe of Northern England also caused the Legions far more trouble than even the people of Judea or the Germanic tribes. The RAF defeated the Deutsch Luftwaffe and the Griegsmarine was too small. The Royal Navy fr too big and no land invasion would have been possible without a large Navy and competent Air Force. Many very brave men on all sides, but the result would have been the same though without America and USSR it would have taken until 1950 and beyond to win. The Italians and Germans in Africa had many nations troops facing them, British, Nepalese, Indian, Australian, New Zealander, South African, Palestinian(Jews), Polish, French, Belgian, and other assorted nations. A good mostly clean fight without the Axis forces murdering innocent civilians and competent generals on both sides. After the war, the allies did not strutt around bullying and murdering the German population. They set about de natzification and restoring democracy. The tommies and jocks were not vindictive and nor was GI Joe. The Germany economy was allowed to grow and prosper and rather than be the masters they let you self govern and assisted in preventing the madness and cruelty of communism from taking over Europe. The Tommies and Jocks have gone home now and their politicians are in the process of dismantling their armed forces( Must be taking back handers from Czar Vlad the 1st of all the Ruskies) Totalitarinism disguised as democracy, reins in Russia today and poses a threat to real freedom such has we are allowed to experence it in the west. The tommies never lost when fighting with other allies against German states along side other German states, prior to Germany becoming a nation in 1870. Britain was a nation for 1200 years before then.
I was watching a TV prog last week of war diary's written by ordinary German women .It struck me strange when on seeing British troops occupying her village , one wrote ....We were so glad to see the English soldiers occupying our village. Hard to imagine anyone being glad to see the victors , but I am guessing she was meaning she was glad it was not Russian troops.

As an American, seeing Germans playing a British march means only one thing-HESSIANS!
Fabulous rendition of the British Grenadiers. Much respect from Britain.
British Grenadier: Never thought I’d die alongside a Jerry.
German: How’s about an old friend?
British Grenadier: Aye that will do.
Prussia and Hannover: have you forgotten who you died along side?
Imagine this and Prussian Glory being played on the same battlefield. The enemy wouldn't be getting off easily. Ask France.
Imagine the Union Jack and Prussia#s black-white flag being hoist at the one side, then the French flying their white flag on the other... XD
Continental powers should stick with Continental powers.
Prussian Glory + March of the Grenadiers = World domination. Too much power even as I Brit I wouldn’t want that, not fair on the rest

Wellington kaput without the Prussians under Blücher. Wellington himself said that day, "I wish it were night or the Prussians came" to his rescue.

That is very true. Napoleon was very close to routing the British at Waterloo when Blucher's Prussians arrived.
