It is so helpful to hear you say it is okay to cast a wide net in the beginning to find out what you like making and what sells well too. Everyone says “niche down”, but I am like I have no idea which one of my ideas will click the most! Thank you for giving permission in a way to do that! You are truly inspiring! ❤
Your videos are SO great and it’s giving me hope ❤ I’m just at the beginning of my art shop, making stickers but I think I’ll end up outsourcing those as well as it’s drinking up ALL my SUPER expensive ink!
Re: the meanness on social media, I have a tip. If anyone writes anything mean, you just reply : Thanks so much for watching regularly! 😂 ...I mean they've got to be either fascinated, or jealous of your earnings. Either way, you win.
This is so inspiring. You have made my dream come true and now I see it’s possible. Question: where did you send your artwork to print? I have this problem with not knowing how to bring my art to live and on products. Congratulations on your success 🎉
Thank you! For stickers I use Sticker Mule and Sticker Blitz. You can learn more about each of them here, and be sure to use the coupon codes in there to get a discount on your first order! elysebreannedesign.com/blogs/blog/one-of-the-biggest-decisions-i-make-when-it-comes-to-my-stickers
Inspiring and motivating! Thank you for sharing your story. I'm so proud of you for how hard you've worked to build over the years. It's amazing. I can hear the genuine love and passion for what you do in your voice. The Work Life Integration concept was interesting and eye opening. I wonder if cultivating that type of mindset could help me actually be consistent? 😅God bless you and the team. Thank you for letting your story be part of mine by giving me some motivation.
I so love your channel! Just such an encouragement to see how you have grown! Do you have a tips for finding quality production partners for products? Like where you even start beyond POD?
Honestly, really inspiring video - the encouraging video I didn't know I needed to see. Congratulations! How you navigate finding manufacturers? (I have clear ideas on what I want to create, but have struggled for a long time finding someone to make them) Sharing your story is definitely helping x
Thankyou! Very encouraging! I’ve only just found you but I wondered what size audience you had at the point you were able to make a living off your business?
Great Video and I love the way you are very passionate and explain how this all came to be. Just curious as to which iPad would you suggest? I've been thinking about getting one..just not sure which is better. You are inspiring to me! You gave me back a spark that I needed to keep going. 💜💜✌
What was the process through which you started printing your products? For instance, did you start by buying your own printer, then later using a vendor? Thanks!
You are awesome and inspiration for sure. How do you print your designs on all of these products? Also, I’am very curious, how did you get the exposure to have people even start buying your products?
Wow! This is so inspirational. Thank you for sharing your journey. The good, the bad and ugly. What stands out most to me is how much you love it! And that makes it make sense; you loved it so you committed to it (even when it wasn't full time you put so much time into it!). I also love the point that you don't have to quit everything and go all in all at once. Much continued success to you!!!
Thank you so much for these videos! Sitting here taking notes and trying to learn all I can from you. 😉 I’m in the “next phase” (gen-x need new life phase 😂) and love to create this type of stuff as well. That’s why I have been following your journey since the early days. Love to see how you’ve grown. I think my biggest question is, in the beginning, what were the print companies you used for your notepads and such? I’m looking to stay small, but would love to grow the product line a bit. I outsource my stickers, but would like to branch out and keep researching the different print companies online. But it’s always best to ask someone who has actually USED the companies for feedback. As I’m not looking to order tremendous quantities, as you did in the beginning, were there any companies that did smaller amounts, great quality but still had decent prices? Thank you thank you thank you for the help and can’t wait for the next installment! 😃🩷
Another way that she was able to scale her business like she did was deciding to leave Etsy. They take a huge profit from you in order to post on their platform, and they have legal control over your customers and their information. They can also shut your account/store down at any time for ridiculous reasons. By leaving that platform and switching to Shopify, she was able to do her own advertising on social media how she wants to do it, and she was also able to get email addresses from her customers. That gave her direct contact to all of these customers so that she could nurture those leads and keep them around for further purchases in the future. A business owner owns and has full control over the email list. Her hard work, commitment, and amazing products were the start. But going off on her own, where she could control everything from her own website through her own email, marketing and other marketing tactics she made this business into a multi million dollar business would not have been able to do this if she had stayed on Etsy.
Hi i was hoping you vould tell me about inventory. I use a print on demand company. I noticed you actuslky have inventory. Which one would say is better? Thanks, from Chicago!
@@Elysebreannedesign thank you for answering. I should have clarified and said did you look into outsourcing when you were starting out and your orders were picking up. Before you made the decision to get your warehouse if you weighed out the pros and cons etc and then decided to do it on your own. I am in that stage now and there are like no videos on it.

I'm in the same boat Polly, and completely agree it's so refreshing to see someone who tried lots at the beginning before finding what worked
Same here! And in the process of trying things out, I have found so many other “niches” that I had not even considered!

I love how your business has grown for you. You’re an inspiration to all us dreamers. Hopefully we will become doers.

I’m so glad I found your channel yesterday. I got procreate and girl yes!!! What I needed to customize my graphic designs❤
Loved your video! For sure, selling art yourself is way more profitable than licensing your art to some other companies.
Thank you so much! I totally agree, and I want to help people be able to do it themselves!
What a very helpful video. Thank you so much. Looking forward to watching your journey❤

hi elyse! you are so inspiring :) how did you learn all of the technical tools like digital software, scaling and printing? all by your own or course?
Your business journey is so inspiring!

Did you ever do print on demand or did you always have everything manufactured for you to store and sell?
Do you use house paints to paint your canvases or acrylic paints? I think I saw Deco Arts Craft Paint in one of your photos.
I use craft paint and wall paint!
Do you copy right your art work and the prints? If yes, could you please share information on how you do that?
This is so inspiring, and your designs are so pretty! Just one note: more cute dog in the videos, please. :D
haha I will do my best! Layla will be thrilled to hear this :)
Do you trademark designs? What is the process?
For those who aren’t artists but love art and creativity, what do you recommend using to help with creative graphics?

I’m going to architecture school and hope to sell my art as a side hustle 😊
Good luck! That sounds amazing having two creative outlets like that!

"Work-Life Integration" resonates with me profoundly. ☠
I swear by it 🫡
Yes, that's what I do too. I love to work on my own ideas and it doesn't feel hard.
Have you thought about outsourcing fulfillment?
Yep, it’s too expensive and I already have a warehouse system in place!

@@ceemariejaye5453yes! I preferred to do my own fulfillment because of the cost of 3PLs
Raise your hand if you went to high school with this girl 🙋♀️
what app are you using to draw in your ipad?
Do you design everything yourself or do you buy wholesale from others?
I design everything myself! We wholesale things for our storefront, but everything under my brand is my design 😊
Sad Etsy isn’t onboarding new vendors from India currently.
What would you say are your best sellers?
Love your videos Elyse! I just emailed you regarding a partnership proposal, would love to hear back from you.
How do you set up titkok showcase though?
