cool video but honestly I would have preferred more explanation instead of the weird ass soundtrack. how is your spa not throwing a flow error as the sand filter is diverting most of the water from the intake? wouldn't it make more sense to put the filter in-line between the out-take and the tub, using the and filter's pump to pull water through the heater rather than the much weaker intex pump pushing it?

Stand alone for filtration? and that original only for heating or massage function? that would be great, cause we want to use it as a normal pool, not that much for wellness and massage. I prefer this variant ruclips.net/video/k_kqdPmaXi8/видео.html with this connection, both pumps work independently of each other, the water is filtered through sand filtration. I also use a timer for external filtration. When both pumps are running, there will be a fast water flow and faster filtration.

Total waste of time the way this is setup, the water is just bypassing exit to the sand filter it’s not going to get forced out the T fitting when it can take the least resistant path direct to the pump still and back out to the spa. You need to divert straight to the sand filter, then the pump and back to spa all in series with no other options for the water to flow.
@@jonathanstrong7159 if you suck filter outlet water into the pump, it’ll heat then push it into the sand filter and then sand filter back into the spa if you know what I mean 😀.
That's what I was thinking too. I am just not sure if it is a good thing if two pumps work at the same time. The pump of the sand filter and the pump of the pool heater. But I think, I will have to find out.

Just stupid. Some of hair and shit will go in to heating unit pump if you don't use paper filter. Use 90degrees and water goes first to sand filter then to heating/pump unit and back to pool.

both systems work fine, the lay-z water pump(original filtration) works only when the heater is switched on
Can you use both pumps at the same time? The layz for heat up and the another for filter?

Then no water would go to through the base to be heated though.
