And another thing is, Augustin seems like he has the most pure heart when he is playing or even during interviews. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he played for cats in real life.
For those who want to know, the piece Augustin is playing while the cat is outside the theatre is Ysaye Violin Sonata Number 3.

My cat says "Meow".."Meow!" "Augustin is the greatest violin virtuoso!" "Augustin is a great violin teacher!" "Augustin is an extremely talented movie producer!" and the list goes on... Being a cat lover myself, I absolutely love Augustin's capturing the essence of those cats in the animation (should be nominated for the "Oscars.") Meow! :-)

I've been showing this to everyone :). Our whole family saw Augustin perform this past June with the Minnesota Orchestra (Beethoven/Berlioz), and still talk about the entire performance around the dinner table.
I try to schedule my trips to Vail each summer so I can see Augustin perform @Vail Bravo. Fell in love with him about 4 stanzas in... He's been my musical crush ever since.

Quite frankly, the greatest violinist of our time. Enchanting and mesmerizing! I have seen Augustin in concert twice. Words can't describe his ability because it comes from within and the audience can feel it.

Without a doubt, Paganini's best work of all time. And such adorable animation! Very interesting blend of anthropomorphism and real cat behavior, taking cat videos to a whole new level. I wonder whether Mr. Hadelich actually has any cats. Whether he does or not this video is exactly what RUclips was made for.

Come i gatti di notte sotto stelle sbiadite…. Magnificent, even if the bow hair in the animation appears to point in the wrong direction much of the time :). Reminds me of the wacky fantasies Maxim Vengerov invites students to conjure up in his masterclasses to liven up their playing, and definitely authentically in the spirit of Paganini who played his violin even in jail and to any creature that would listen and was ready to be uplifted. Grazie ancora, Augustin!
