What a great twist in the tiered trays!! BTW...the antique "paint" is actually wax. It's used to accent areas of chalk painted items. Normally you'd cover your piece with clear wax first and let dry. Once dry, go in with the dark wax and rub on, rub off. Use the clear wax first because it allows the dark wax to be moveable and not stick like paint does. What's left behind is an antique look. By no means am I saying you didn't already know this and I'm not trying to sound like a know it all. I thought I'd share in case. I've not used it as paint so I'll have to give it a try.
Super adorable! Tip: when placing something on a lid that needs to orient to specific direction. Put the lid on the canister first then apply your object in the correct orientation and wa la it always goes back on the correct direction.
Totally agree that you have designed a really awesome stand. There are so many possibilities that would look good with that!!! Red for Christmas (with cupcakes and brownies) and Blues for the person who loves checks in their kitchen! My head is buzzing! Thank you for this idea!! You did it again!
Kelly everything you touch turns to magic. You make it look so easy when your do it. Everything i see you make i watch from start to finish and each time it's more amazing thank you for opening your home and sharing the love. I do relate to you my family is firefighters and I too recently lost a sister and she was my best friend. I am always excite to see a new post from you. Makes a happy feel good time just seeing your work a d excitement. Please keep sharing and you and your family are always in my prayers. Firefighting is such a scary job for them. But my husband and stepson and daughter in law absolutely love it. Prayers to you and your family and thanks for coming into my life when I needed you most i found you thru bargain Bethany. I love her excitement as well. I'm gonna go try real hard to make that. It will never be as beautiful as yours. I am sharing with everyone this video. I was waiting for the twine bow at the end. Lol. Stay sweet n safe. Prayers at u.
Kimberly Johnson wow thank you so much for such kind supportive words really means so much to me! You to have a family that serve their community I love that! Prayers to you as well with a heavy heart hearing about your sister! I just got a tattoo yesterday of praying hands for both my mom and my sister, I love it! It was something I really wanted to do when my mom died a couple years ago and for some reason I just never did it! So glad I waited cause now it holds the meaning for both of them🧡
Those are so beautiful! My daughter has a tea obsession and I have been racking my brain to find a cute way to display all her flavors. Those round jars, painted are perfect!! Thanks for always giving me great ideas!!!
I was about to buy myself one of these farmhouse 3 tiered trays for my kitchen and spend over 40$....change of plans now 🥰 making my dollar tree and Walmart list for this DIY😁😍....love, love, love it! Thanks Kelly!👍💗
I was watching as you got the bottom ready and looked so good, then as you were doing the trays I wasn't sure how it was going to look. Boy was a so happy to see the finish. This is great. And you are spot on about looking like the enamel. The little kitchen pieces just add a great touch too. It looks great.
I have just decided to put together a tiered tray, we just bought our forever home in September and I am loving Farmhouse even if I am late to the party and thanks for sharing
Kelly, I am crazy about the DIYs you come up with from The Dollar Tree. That is one place I can’t stay out of. In our area we have one problem. There are a lot, and I mean a WHOLE LOT of things the stores do not carry. When I ask about them, one store manager told me that she couldn’t do anything about what they received in their shipments. Another store manager told me that she liked to hear feed back and they could order what was popular and had in the past. I went in one store, they didn’t have a lot of the things like the rolling pins, wood chopping boards and long wood signs, but this store was so well stocked and had everything that the other stores in the area was out of. No matter when you go in, this store is clean and the same workers have been there for a long while. I’m just glad I don’t live local to this store. I have to make special trips when I visit them.
You never disappoint😀. What's ironic is the past two days I've been working with flower pots and the same round wood pieces to make table legs for a coffee/end table for a sun room. Thank you
When I first looked at the stand I thought the pedestals looked cool. I am so happy to see you made them. They could be used for many things. Great work.
I just came across this today. I have been searching all over Minnesota for one of these stands. Most were way too expensive to but this looks so doable I've got to try it. Thank You Kelly.
Thank you Kelly for another brill DIY! I have worked with chalk paint and wax a lot, including the Waverly brand from Walmart -- no complaints! I never knew you could use the dark wax on unfinished wood. Depending on my project, I have always use the waxes to enhance the textures and seal the chalk paint. I learned something new!
Kelly, I really enjoy all your ideas on a dollar tree budget! You are extremely good at teaching us how to create. I just can not understand the thumbs down on your pages. What's not to like? You go girl, you've got a great following of thumbs up folks, what more can you ask for?
I love it!! I've been looking for a container for my coffee to put in my basket alongside my coffee pods at my "coffee bar"! Now I know where to get one and what to do with it!! Thank you so much for the inspiration! I hope you have a blessed rest of your week and a wonderful weekend! ♡♡♡
I adore you and your lovely family. I enjoy watching your DIYs. Love tiered trays. Changes out easily. The problem i have is that I don’t/.can’t leave my house. 1. No vehicle. 2, 3, 4....I suffer from depression and anxiety with agoraphobia. I lead a very small isolated, retired life. I am bipolar. Not crazy...just extreme ups and downs. As much as I love watching the hauls and the DIYs it brings me joy and sadness. I need a fairy godmother.
Most definitely a cute tired tray and different from the others I've seen..looks more sturdy than others I've seen. Thanks for sharing Kelly. Love your videos.
This is cool, change the wood pieces to something else to raise it up, what I don’t know! However, make it retro with Red &/or turquoise trim & accents! Even the bottles! Going to rewatch this! 👍🏻😍
i think these might be my most favorite thing you have made yet and i watch you all the time! totally making these for my kitchen! keep giving us great ideas!!! thanks!
Hi Kelly! Love this tray! Love your channel! I get super happy when I get a notification there is a new video! All you ideas are so creative and your enthusiasm for what you do is contagious!

Omg 😱 how did I miss this tutorial. I have been wanting to make this three-tiered tray for sometime now but never found one I really like. It came out amazing so high end looking. I’m definitely going to try my best to make one like yours. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day❤️😷❤️
Gorgeous!! I made a tiered tray a few months ago, and used stained wood pillar candle holders between the trays. It has a very similar feel as yours, and I just love it!!
Ooh my...this I think is the most farmhouse feel tier tray....I love the brown with the antique white....very nice .....impressive...thanks for the share...keep smiling...
Loved the ideas for the wood bases! Thanks for this DIY! I've been wanting to do one for at least a year. I can definitely do this and have it fit my decor 🙂
loved it. GREAT that you showed me a different way...I have been so sad because the candle holder things that DT had a couple years ago are GONE. (faux wood looking almost pedestal candle holders??) i had only 2 then they sold out. NOW i think i can glue the terra cotta planters together like you did and it will be really close (the glass candle holders just arent quite thick enough to do the project i have in mind) Thanks for this idea. so cure.
Teresa Plans hey you! Thank you so much ☺️ I’m doing ok these days, hangin in there! So glad it’s summer and having the break from school and homework with alli🧡hope your doing well❣️ I see your just about to hit 10k subs! Great job and such a milestone! Keep up the good work👍🏻☀️
