It is so versatile. One could change often by adding different Holiday or occasion greens or flowers below the lamp. Love the idea and how easy it was to make. I am starting to make crafts to go in my friend's shop. This will surely be one that I make.

It would be really easy to do all the sides with dowel sticks and rope to look very much like the original if you chose to, Kelly you did a fabulous job I loved the white one the best but both are awsome thank you for sharing your amazing diys! I finally was able to make this. I painted white and added twine/jute to the tops and bottoms of the L corners along with moss and flowers. Thank you for showing us how to make one of these. I can not wait to give this as a Christmas gift to my daughter and her boyfriend. I wish I was able to download a picture of the way mine turned out. Now I am starting another one with a twist of its own.
I like your version much better. I like that it's not as busy as the other one. I love simple decor sometimes

Looks beautiful. I would glue a few stones to the bottom inside and maybe some small aquarium plants to look like trees. Then make a tiny little rope swing and small gnome or fairy or something. Like a tiny diorama? I don't know. Endless possibilities.

I love this. I saw several comments with thoughts on additions. I thought about cutting apart one of the wire baskets from Dollar Tree and making it look old. I really liked the comment suggesting chicken wire or something similar, but not everyone can get chicken wire where they live. This turned out awesome. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Wow. Once again I am amazed at this Kelly Barlow creation and her use of Dollar Tree Tumbling Tower pieces! This lantern is beautiful, Kelly, but I agree with some others that the sides need something on the sides to attach some twins like the original inspiration lantern. Someone mentioned using fish net. Or maybe a produce bag that contained onions, potatoes or some citrus fruits. They would need to be painted, but that's what we do anyway, right? Your version is beautiful, Kelly. God bless you.

Amazing and Beautiful!😲❤ LOVE IT! My mind started swimming on ideas😁...to add holiday look could cut some tissue paper (or even paper napkins) to plastic from salad containers or the plastic flexible cutting boards from dollars store. Since it's flexible can slightly bend to change them out for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, ect.

This turned out great! You could also staple chicken wire to the inside of the corners and wrap rope around and through it.
How would you turn it on and off then?

I adore the white one , I think I would put the solid cap on top of the finial instead of underneath it . Or at least I'd like to see what it looks like . Another brilliant video!!

This is super cute but you definitely need 6 boxes of the blocks. 5 boxes leaves you about 26 blocks short for this pattern. Love your projects!

Love love love it. Yours looks so much better. I only would slide some chicken wire on the sides and one side I would leave it loose so you can change the batteries. Love the light coloured one as I love anything beache.
