Other channels I follow is Preppy Kitchen (very meticuluous but cumbersome and difficult recipes), Cupcake Jemma (Umm don't like her much).......but people love her, can check her out!

I guess it tastes a lot like paneer.
Raksha Pujari To describe the taste it is more mellow than a normal cheese .The cheesy tasty is not that sharp but has a tangy fermented taste of course.
Thanks Shivesh for such an amazing and easy recipe. Just one doubt where we should store cream cheese, in Refrigerator or freezor??

Finally an Indian channel that's not about short cuts but actually finding recipes.
Awesome!!
Tried this recipe, it works perfectly! Thank you so much for this ☺️
All your recipes are awesome! Thank you ❤
Omg I've been searching for a tutorial to make cream cheese for forever ! And this one seems the simplest, especially since that's how I've been making paneer at home too lol. I love baking and make a lot of carrot cakes & red velvet cakes and sometimes even bagels but all minus the cream cheese. The most sought after brand, Philadelphia cream cheese, costs about ₹250 for 100 gms 😱 I'm glad I can *finally* make cream cheese at home. Thank you so much 🙏🏼
*UPDATE*
OMG I just made this & I cannot stop smiling at how silky & voluptuous this Cream cheese turned out ,tastes divine 🤤😍 I doubled the recipe, divided into half. I made a savoury salted spread for bagels (that I'm going to make ASAP) and kept the remaining plain which I'll use to make cream cheese frosting for red velvet cake that I'm baking tomorrow ❤️ This is the first time I've tasted cream cheese & I can see why the West is obsessed with it 🙏🏼 Thank you bunches ☺️
How did the frosting go? Mine curdled up and made terrible lumps
@@Pendorr91 I've made it a couple times and it's been great !
@@bhavna76rasaily hello......can i simply use market paneer and grind it to make cream cheese???
@@shivangarya3232 Well I'm not sure if it would work, this is much creamier and smooth than paneer.
Mine wasn’t this smooth! There were some curdles!!!! What can I do??
I would get anything and everything under the sun in Mangalore and there never was the need for homemade juggads. Now settling with in Laws in Nainital made me realise not everyone can procure stuff so easily and it is a constant running around and searching for homemade recipes..
You are a blessing, you need to know this!
But now thanks to the lockdown, haldwani has run out of cream too 🙆♀️.. When I lay hands on fresh cream this is the first thing I am gonna be making and a cheesecake.
But then i would also need a whipping cream juggad 😅.
I live near haldwani only. And whipping cream is easily available there.
@@aaayushi562 hello! I would be happy to know where I could get it from. Thanks :)
Haha .. relating to this so much being from manglore and moving away after marraige.

Love you so much for all your recipes and humbleness... Bless you bro...really from the heart
This recipe was totally worth a try! Made the cream cheese frosting with the homemade cream cheese and I just can't stop eating it! Waiting to make another batch and incorporate savoury flavours into it 😍
did u follow the exact measurements?
Hey Shivesh. Super random. That gesture at “Aaaaand so much more!” made me curious. What’s your arm span? Love your baking tips!!

Best recipe so simple so easy I was always confused about this.. thank you so much
Beautifully explained and pictured. Thank you
My whole life is a lie...
I hv been paying for a mashed paneer cake at expensive bakeries😱
Ha ha true ... I got shocked as well ...
Same 😨😦😂
Ha ha ha!! I couldn't believe my eyes.. it's paneer!!
@Sasmita Bhuyan true but when you blend it out it becomes creamy in texture
This is not the authentic cream cheese. It's an alternate version.
Every cheese is made by some process of curdling only.
The curds (paneer) are common in all cheeses.
Depends on what you use to curdle.
Paneer is made with lemon, citric acid or vinegar.
Cream cheese is made with lactic acid .
Cream Cheese is expensive because it uses cream.
Even in this process he used 2 packets of cream .
So 2 cups of full fat milk = 500 ml milk = 35 Rs.
2 * 200 ml Amul 25% cream = 2 * 63 = 126 Rs.
Makes 1 cup = 250 grams of cream cheese
1 vanilla pod = 100- 350 Rs.
Time to make = half a day
Readymade =
Indian brands =
Dlecta Cream Cheese 1kg = 669 Rs
Brittania Cream Cheese 180g = 237 Rs.
Philadelphia cream cheese = very expensive as it is imported
Slice of Cheese Cake = 200-250 bucks..
I would say buy the actual cheese cake as it is worth it rather than making this ridiculous paneer mash-up
I GENUINELY HOPE YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE A BLESSING ❤️ LOVE YOUU, LOVE CREAM CHEESE. THANK YOU FOR THISSSS
THANK YOU SO MUCH🥰❤️❤️
Really simple... Wil try for sure.
Thanks.

I m big fan of u n love trying ur recipes
and I tried this!! It turned out just like it is shown in the video! Thanks 💗
Hi Shivesh, I didnt squeeze out the water from paneer enough hence the cheese is too liquidy. Do you have and remedy for this???
You can put it in a muslin cloth and drain just like when we make shrikhand.
My question is after blending the curdled milk and paneer making cream cheese, what is the purpose of having butter and sugar added to it? Is it required to make cheesecake?
@@cauliflower2003
When do we add the fresh cream?
Thankyou so much Shivesh! This is the first time I saw the recipe of cream cheese

Wow shivesh thank u for sharing...
Heyy... I'm curious about the taste.. Is it actually like the marketed cream cheese?
I have tried the recipe. Its v good
@@shrutichaturvedi8980 thank you!
Shivesh my milk did not curdle . I followed the exact recipe and then I added an extra lemon and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar yet no luck
Sameee, I wish I had read your comment before. I'm looking at unsplit milk and cream :/
You sure that’s milk? Hard to believe!
I make both cream cheese and cream cheese frosting both are so perfect thankyou shivesh
Looking for perfect one. N here it is. ❤️It. Thanks as it really gave me a good relief from the stress of finding a cream cheese around me n missed it to make delicious cheese cake or frosting. Thanks a zillion
This didn't work for me :/ the cream added something which prevented it from splitting, no matter how much vinegar I added! I had to repeat without using cream at all, and it turned out to be perfect! Don't know why this happened, I'm just sharing my experience
Temperature also matters... If it is not hot enough... It ain't gonna split
@@divyarajkumar6503 I had followed the exact instructions :/ hence was disappointed... I think it's a problem with the cream in the recipe, as it was perfectly good without using cream!
Happened with me too. It just wasn’t splitting. I’m not sure if his measurements are correct. Ughhh so frustrating
Omg! Same.....I was so pissed...I was like I could have just used my cream for making ice cream. Anyway during these covid times everyone is baking and fresh cream is not easily available 🤦🏽♀️
Same happened to me but I found that heating it up again and adding some more acid like lemon will make it split also remember to stir well.
Ty so much sir you give great idea and great Tips. 🙏 👌 👍
