Yes he does. I was adopted and I thank GOD everyday that I was loved appropriately and not abused like so many others. My hurt bleeds for the child in him. Praying that he will continue to heal and receive the love that he deserves 🙏🏾❤️

As a former foster child who had a terrible experience, my heart breaks for the boy that was Christian. But I thank God for the man that is Christian…who overcame the circumstances of his birth and upbringing. Thanks for this interview.
I have admired Christian Keys for years as an actor. This was the first in depth interview I’ve heard from him. OMG!! I had absolutely no idea of what he experienced as a child. Even though it was absolutely horrific, God preserved his life and his sanity, and that in itself is amazing. I was unaware of his philanthropic endeavors, and other things. He is soooo funny! I thank God for seeing him through that trauma, and I’m proud of him for seeking healing for himself, so that he could be whole, and be the father that his child needs and deserves! I pray God sends him a wife that provides a safe and peaceful place for him to lay his head.
So saddened by Christian’s childhood story yet happy he pursued healing so his son/child(ren) wouldn’t suffer from unresolved pain. Truly the hand of God was/is upon him. Thank you for having him as a guest. #GracefullyBroken

I am a Social Worker and I see cases of abuse like this. Heart breaking and traumatizing. Definitely my goal is to find parents that really want to help children and not do it for the money. #Godspurpose
@Roxy Mitchell I know all about the “foster parents” who only do it for the money. I knew a “foster parent” who had two boys who was temporary in the system for 6 months the worker that was over the case was great she did all she could to make sure she was upfront with the biological parent (mother) all that was going on one day she had to report that the “foster parent” threw the 5 year old outside in the cold/snow on ground at this time and locked him out and later threw his brother out also....the worker immediately removed them from the home. A lot can happen within the 6 months being in the system not sure how long they was with that particular “foster parent” but it does bother me because why would you choose to be a caregiver for a system that’s already messed up/crooked and on top of that not sure why the children/child had to be there in the first place some just need a little help others come from abusive backgrounds etc....I just don’t understand it I just don’t understand why people make the choices that they do....🤷🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️🙏🏽

If someone truly fall in love with that person, that is different. But don't be color struck. That is very irritating to me. Men have lost their way tremendously. Especially a lot of black men. We can pray and intercede for them. And seek healing through counseling/therapy if we need to. We have to develop a healthy relationship with Christ and self. Before we can fully connect to someone else.

I met Christian years ago in San Antonio and he really is a genuine, easy going, and funny guy. It’s heartbreaking to hear him talk about his childhood abuse and instability. It takes a wise, God fearing man to overcome the anger he must have felt. I’m glad he was given the gift of discernment and is persevering in life.
I just want to thank God that His Child is Wearing his “black man of God” crown. This is a beautiful thing! I am grateful to have had the opportunity to drop a tear with this man of God and say a prayer also. Transparency is a blessing. God is providing his peace. It’s been received. I went from shedding a tear for the little boy who didn’t get love, but was beat worst than a rabid dog! First, I do believe you may need a trigger warning on this particular episode prior to the start of it. Second, I've heard his story before. It's the most difficult story I have ever heard in my entire life. I've had some physical trauma from my childhood and recently. But. What he went through makes Guantanamo Bay seem like a resort. You can't write a movie for his story, it's so heavy. The way he can even tell his story without breaking down shows how the Lord has covered his heart and mind and covered him. It's stunning. I freeze when I hear it each time. And his ability to forgive this woman is something unto itself that 99.999% of people would not be able to do, Believer in Christ or not. I pray the Lord continues to heal him and restore to him 20 fold every single thing Satan stole from his childhood. I pray the Lord's continued favor upon his life and surround him with His Supernatural full Agape love. This man is absolutely incredible and God will use him mightily. Wow this was a incredible interview with Christian Keyes it's made heart feel so sad what he went through when he was in that foster home how that woman was so abusive to him.and this is so unbelievably that's people can be so cruel I appreciate him coming on this podcast sharing this with us because I know it's wasn't easy but people need hear this because it's beneficial to do many people that might went through this at young age themselves either someone they might know. Hearing his testimony again was hard... couldn't believe it before some years ago and still find it difficult to imagine because he is such a beautiful talented intelligent soul.
Listening to him talk about his childhood was triggering, to say the least. And hearing him talk about God nudge him to forgive was another trigger. I like that he says we are all healing because we are. Many of us have been traumatized in various ways but ultimately, God wants the healing of our souls, minds, and bodies and forgiveness is a door that opens that rivers of healing for us. Love his transparency and vulnerability. It's not easy to discuss dark parts of our childhood or traumatic experience or events. So that really does hit me and others. Cause a lot of men don't like to let those walls come down. I know he's a great actor but haven't heard his singing voice yet. Excited to hear it. Hoping he finds an amazing and beautiful woman to be his wife in the future. He truly deserves a great love and someone with incredible strength, knowledge, and understanding. This was such a great interview! Christian is too hilarious lol. The main thing that stuck out for me was FORGIVENESS. To have to go thru all of that pain and still be able to forgive is so major. God definitely has a way of turning your pain into your purpose!

I have nothing but admiration and respect for this brother Mr. Keys! I love watching his interviews and movies. I was moved to tears several times as he so bravely shared his story of abuse. The part that bothers me the most is How the system FAILED HIM, HIS BROTHER and many other foster children!! They chose not to believe him and were too lazy to put him with a good trusting family. Pause......😥 The foster care system needs to be reformed just like the police departments! So sad! When he stated that she hit him in the head with a hammer, in addition to being put outside naked in the cold and beaten while in the cold/scaling hot showers and everything else, Wow! "THAT PART " I'v never heard of such Traumatic abuse on this level. He said that she was "crazy." No! She was demonic. I am happy that he finally got the help he needed and found the strength to forgive and able to move past it. Love this man and all he stands for. He dates and loves black women. How refreshing to know this... Thank you for doing this video. I have admired Christian Keys for years as an actor. This was the first in depth interview I’ve heard from him. OMG!! I had absolutely no idea of what he experienced as a child. Even though it was absolutely horrific, God preserved his life and his sanity, and that in itself is amazing.
I was unaware of his philanthropic endeavors, and other things.
He is soooo funny! I thank God for seeing him through that trauma, and I’m proud of him for seeking healing for himself, so that he could be whole, and be the father that his child needs and deserves!
I pray God sends him a wife that provides a safe and peaceful place for him to lay his head.
So saddened by Christian’s childhood story yet happy he pursued healing so his son/child(ren) wouldn’t suffer from unresolved pain. Truly the hand of God was/is upon him. Thank you for having him as a guest. #GracefullyBroken

I am a Social Worker and I see cases of abuse like this. Heart breaking and traumatizing. Definitely my goal is to find parents that really want to help children and not do it for the money. #Godspurpose

My colleague handles claims for DHS. Some of the cases I've read 👀. Heart breaking, resulting in deaths.
@Roxy Mitchell I know all about the “foster parents” who only do it for the money. I knew a “foster parent” who had two boys who was temporary in the system for 6 months the worker that was over the case was great she did all she could to make sure she was upfront with the biological parent (mother) all that was going on one day she had to report that the “foster parent” threw the 5 year old outside in the cold/snow on ground at this time and locked him out and later threw his brother out also....the worker immediately removed them from the home. A lot can happen within the 6 months being in the system not sure how long they was with that particular “foster parent” but it does bother me because why would you choose to be a caregiver for a system that’s already messed up/crooked and on top of that not sure why the children/child had to be there in the first place some just need a little help others come from abusive backgrounds etc....I just don’t understand it I just don’t understand why people make the choices that they do....🤷🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️🙏🏽

If someone truly fall in love with that person, that is different. But don't be color struck. That is very irritating to me. Men have lost their way tremendously. Especially a lot of black men. We can pray and intercede for them. And seek healing through counseling/therapy if we need to. We have to develop a healthy relationship with Christ and self. Before we can fully connect to someone else.

I met Christian years ago in San Antonio and he really is a genuine, easy going, and funny guy. It’s heartbreaking to hear him talk about his childhood abuse and instability. It takes a wise, God fearing man to overcome the anger he must have felt. I’m glad he was given the gift of discernment and is persevering in life.

First, I do believe you may need a trigger warning on this particular episode prior to the start of it.
Second, I've heard his story before. It's the most difficult story I have ever heard in my entire life. I've had some physical trauma from my childhood and recently. But. What he went through makes Guantanamo Bay seem like a resort. You can't write a movie for his story, it's so heavy. The way he can even tell his story without breaking down shows how the Lord has covered his heart and mind and covered him. It's stunning. I freeze when I hear it each time. And his ability to forgive this woman is something unto itself that 99.999% of people would not be able to do, Believer in Christ or not.
I pray the Lord continues to heal him and restore to him 20 fold every single thing Satan stole from his childhood. I pray the Lord's continued favor upon his life and surround him with His Supernatural full Agape love. This man is absolutely incredible and God will use him mightily.

Hearing his testimony again was hard... couldn't believe it before some years ago and still find it difficult to imagine because he is such a beautiful talented intelligent soul.
Listening to him talk about his childhood was triggering, to say the least. And hearing him talk about God nudge him to forgive was another trigger. I like that he says we are all healing because we are. Many of us have been traumatized in various ways but ultimately, God wants the healing of our souls, minds, and bodies and forgiveness is a door that opens that rivers of healing for us. Love his transparency and vulnerability. It's not easy to discuss dark parts of our childhood or traumatic experience or events. So that really does hit me and others. Cause a lot of men don't like to let those walls come down.
I know he's a great actor but haven't heard his singing voice yet. Excited to hear it. Hoping he finds an amazing and beautiful woman to be his wife in the future. This was such a great interview! Christian is too hilarious lol. The main thing that stuck out for me was FORGIVENESS. To have to go thru all of that pain and still be able to forgive is so major. God definitely has a way of turning your pain into your purpose!

I have nothing but admiration and respect for this brother Mr. Keys! I love watching his interviews and movies. I was moved to tears several times as he so bravely shared his story of abuse. The part that bothers me the most is How the system FAILED HIM, HIS BROTHER and many other foster children!! They chose not to believe him and were too lazy to put him with a good trusting family. Pause......😥
The foster care system needs to be reformed just like the police departments! So sad! When he stated that she hit him in the head with a hammer, in addition to being put outside naked in the cold and beaten while in the cold/scaling hot showers and everything else, Wow!

I'v never heard of such Traumatic abuse on this level. He said that she was "crazy." No! She was demonic. I am happy that he finally got the help he needed and found the strength to forgive and able to move past it. Love this man and all he stands for. He dates and loves black women. How refreshing to know this... Thank you for doing this video. His upbringing story really broke my heart. I have such a disdain for people who treat or treated children badly. The amount of brain rewriting it takes to not let thst circumstance turn you into the sane thing is true resilience. Sending my ❤️🫶🏽 to anyone who’s been through the same or si miliar.

Another phenomenal interview! I am sorry to admit that I did not know who Christian Keyes was before this interview, but I am an instant fan! It was extremely difficult to watch at first, I almost turned away because of the abuse he experienced. However, I am very happy that I stuck around!

This is the realest interview I've ever seen Christian do and I've seen a few, he was absolutely comfortable and I loved every minute. I pray when it's time I trust God will introduce him to his wife.
After knowing so much stuff he went through growing up, of course he deserves peace. I hope he ends up finding someone great enough for him soon. Keep the faith, Christian.
I really enjoyed this episode. I went through every emotion and I even had a praise moment each time he dropped a gem.
