Started my collection recently, this is what I’ve got: Hamilton Khaki 38 mm , Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 blue, Seiko Alpinist SPB119 white dial, Longines Hydro Green 41mm on Bracelet . So a different dial color was my target as well

All great solid choices - and quality - all you need now is a beater and you’ve covered all the bases - I suggest that one of the new metal ‘Casioak’ G Shocks in a nice colour would compliment your collection well

Well done Teddy , when the obsession started in the watch game even though I had the funds I didn’t think I’d ever be spending over a grand on a timepiece and now I looking at pieces in the 3-5 grand range. It’s definitely an evolving journey that draws you in
with the statement your making on your wrist. Accuracy and telling time can be yours on a budget but their isn’t quite anything like wearing a mechanical beauty on your wrist that does so much more then tell the time it’s what you know about it that makes it feel so damn good. Doesn’t even matter if it’s discussed even though that is noticed by watch addicts just like yourself.
Well done & solid Lineup especially the models Longines has been releasing lately, Longines/ Wittnauer was the 1st watch ever given to me by Canadian Hockey Jr hockey league for player of the game, at the time they were the official sponsor for time of the goal as Rolex is for Wimbledon.
Along with added meaning of the brand to me and some very cool re-issues of some previous models their definitely next on my list.
Again Thank you Teddy for the solid work ! Always appreciate your take on the watch game.

I just bought the Rado Captain Cook in Bronze with the Brown Dial at a local retail store (sorry Teddy) for $2080. Absolute steal of a watch (no pun intended) for the $2000 range. 300m water resistance, 80hr power reserve, bronze case, and beautiful design, all from a Swiss watch brand.

I would have liked to see one of the original German flieger brands be included in the pilot watch category. I know iwc and Lange is out of the price category but Stowa and Laco provides amazing value at the sub 2k range. They have the flieger heritage, iconic triangle mark at 12 o’clock position, and heated blue hands all fitting in a very slim watch case. I personally think they can’t be overlooked in this category

Hi Teddy, big fan. I would love to see a video similar to this one, but where you focus on pre-owned offerings instead that in many cases may present better value. I know that for me, ever since I started collecting more seriously in 2018, the pre owned space is where I spend the majority of my time and I think that would be very interesting to see for your viewers. Obviously the market can be volatile and subject to change, but that would be a video I would love to see with your opinions

Nice list, but you forgot about the Longines Master Collection Chronograph when you said it was difficult to get a slim Swiss-made Chrono. I have one that I bought recently (€2,500, so a tad above your limit) and it is only 11.6mm with a Longines calibre L889 movement,
