hear me out, I think Riddick would be soooo good for MK1. He is very violent and iconic, 2 of the most important traits for a kameo character. Plus he has a long running and popular comic series. He'd be perfect!!!

I feel like The Mask’s fatalities would take from the comics, since they have over the top violence as well
It will be like how Joker reused his fatality from MK vs DCU when he was a guest fighter in MK 11, but this time you actually see what happens which had gore.
I feel like they'd have to take basically everything from the comics except maybe the appearance and voice.
Denji's interactions could be so good, just imagine:
-Him being sent to kill Ashrah by Makima
-Her and Syzoth's reaction to this
-Johnny asking Denji if hes seen any of his movies, only for him to reply that Makima probably has
-Denji relating to Kenshi cause of the whole yakuza thing
-Denji comparing himself and Baraka
-Him simping for Kitana or even Sindel
-Any of his interaction with other guest characters
-Comparing Nitara to Power, maybe saying "Not the first crazy chick with blood I've met"
-Pissing off Liu Kang or Geras by being annoying
Plus, Denji's whole thing is brutalizing other people AND getting brutalized himself, its not likely in the slightest, but if any anime/manga character were to ever be in MK. Denji would be a perfect fit.

I like the idea of Venom, although with the push to make them more of an anti-hero as of late I think it would be more appropriate if he was swapped with carnage. Since he has been portrayed as the more brutal of the two while still allowing for all the same creative moveset possibilities.
Only problem is Venom is Marvel. They wouldn't license out any of their stuff to WB who owns DC

His *Super Shredder* mutation is perfect for performing a Fatality. (Not that grotesque 2012 one, but _The Secret of the Ooze_ version.)
Good call. He could also incorporate mutagen in-game, either as a temporary power-up, or as a weapon to mutate his opponents into a prey-animal (would be so cool to see mutated forms of MK characters)

If Marvel was an option, I'd definitely say Deadpool because of 3 main factors:
-His big reputation for being violent and gory, whether in comics, his movies, or his game even
-The GIANT potential he'd have for personality and style with his animations, fatal blows/finishers, and especially dialogue
-The way that his moveset could easily be setup as a ninja with swords (like Scoprion in MK9-MK11) who's maybe a bit more speedy than other fighters, and uses all kinds of guns like Erron Black or Robocop do (his pistols could be his basic ranged attacks, but he could pull out all kinds of bigger guns for harder hitting ones)
My number 1 Marvel pick would have to be Ghost Rider but Deadpool is definetly 2nd

not sure how possible it would be (highly unlikely) but i think darth vader would be really cool to see. I could see vader having force push/pull, choke, Saber throw, and force slam. Skins could possibly be his default, on fire like jedi survivor, either type of slashed helmets from kenobi and rebels, and maybe having the red lenses like Rouge one or clone wars, and even perhaps without his helmet.

another problem is that Darth Vader is owned by Disney and since Marvel is owned by Disney it be unlikely he will be added because Warner Bros. Who owned DC Comics is a rival company to Disney.

Not sure Vader would work. Aside from being the face (helmet?) of the Star Wars Franchise, the guy isn't exactly manoeuvrable; he just comes at you, not quickly but as inevitable as Death itself. A couple of good SW characters that would work would be Darth Maul or Asarj Ventris, who not only bring in Jedi/Sith agility and combat techniques, but also some of that Night Sister magic as well. Boba Fett/The Mandarorian might be interesting too.
I definitely think Reverse Flash would be a good pick. His cynical and arrogant nature would kinda be a combo of Scorpion and Johnny Cage just with super speed. Plus he’s definitely underrated.

Alex Mercer from Prototype would be amazing; the series is filled to the brim with gore, and Alex himself is a walking arsenal; he'd play like a mix of havik with ranged tendril attacks and the whole body horror motif, and baraka using his claws or armblades to shed people to pieces; and also like baraka his power come from a disease
alex mercer from prototype is a perfect guest character. hes as brutal and as susceptible o death as the mk characters, hes owned by warner dc which in lines with the injustice nrs have made and is a perfect ploy for liu kangs righteousness
Mercer would be awesome, and would use a move set very similar Venoms. And some of the possible fatalities; from being slowly absorbed by Mercer, to being torn apart by the biobomb thing.

Am I the only one who thinks Wesker would be perfect, specially for the RE5 remake (if it comes)
I can see him being a speedy character who specializes in countering while hitting quick and precise like Hit in DBFZ.
His fatalities could be him fisting his hand through his opponent then zombies swarming in to eat the opponent alive.
The second could use his kill from Dead by Deadlight by utilizing his uroboros.
I can see him bantering with Liu Kang, Baraka and Shang Tsung. He'd see himself over Liu Kang and want the hourglass so he can be the only god. As for Baraka, he's want to study him and get the Tarkatan virus for his benefit. As for Shang Tsung, either they had a scheming alliance before it falls apart from them wanting to bckstab each other.

Hitgirl from kick-ass would be so good, comic book character who, from the pattern I see in mk1s dlc roster, was adapted into a movie/series, plus she has some crazy lines and some scenes show potential for a great moveset they can take inspiration from.

Good call. Fatalities could include Kickass flying in with his jet pack and unloading his chainguns, or (MK being supernatural) Big Daddy(Nic Cage) summoned from beyond the grave to drag the foe under.

I think that if they add The Mask into MK 1 every skin for him should be someone else who wore the mask, which would make every skin very unique.
I really want to see John Wick in Mortal Kombat 1. He is an extremely aggressive and basically unstoppable character. He has mastery in physical combat, and can have strikes that involves grabbing the opponent. Not to mention the immense mastery he has with weapons, being able to be a mix of a zoner and a grappler.
Given our current list of dlc fighters, I’d honestly be surprised if chainsaw man didn’t show up
I would love to see Legoshi from Beastars, Shredder from TMNT, Lucy from Elfen Lied, and Negan from Walking Dead appear in Mortal Kombat.
THE DARKNESS from Top Cow comics, they made a game but it was like a fps or something. His design and powers are SUPER SICK. I’d love to see him get the treatment and legitimacy they gave Spawn in MK11

I disagree with most of it but I respect your work and thought you put into it.
My take is that I think being that there’s already so many ninjas in MK, his special move set should involve mutagen and robotics. Using mutagen as a temporary power up for Super Shredder form, or against enemies to make them temporarily mutated to make them weaker. Mechanics like that would make his playing stand out from the rest. I also personally think incorporating either Foot Clan, Bebop and Rocksteady, Krang, Mousers, Roadkill Rodneys, and Drill Modules/ Technodrome in either gameplay or fatalities would be fun.
Anyway, I think generally that involving Mutagen and robotics/Dimension X technology would make him really stand out and maximize fun strategies.
His basic move set and some specials would still be along the lines of what you described though.

One character that I feel that would be a perfect character as a guest fighter for mk1 would be Judge Dredd, his gameplay would be similar to Robocop from mk1 and you could have Karl Urban’s Dredd be an alt because Homelander is already confirmed to be a fighter, also he is a comic book character so he fits well in the theme of mk1
Venom would go hard in mortal kombat
Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha. He would be perfect. (I was thinking main character slot, maybe a Klassic Raiden or Reptile for a Kameo. Reptile could be his old OG MK moves plus the force ball and then have his fatality being biting your head off.)
Damn I just realized how dope the green Goblin would be. That glider and pumpkin bombs would be perfect fatalities and his suit from spiderman 1 would fit in perfectly in mk1.not to mention he's crazy that would fit in nicely!

Shredder fatalities could include calling up a drill module from underground (maybe Bebop & Rocksteady come out and pound enemy to death), or Krang flying in, ripping opponents brain out and shoving it into their stomach (to mimic his own design), OR Technodrome used in some fashion.
Honorable mention for moves or fatalities- gang of Foot Soldiers, Mousers, or Roadkill Rodneys.
Mutagen should be incorporated into his gameplay either as a temporary Super Shredder form power up, and/or weaponized to temporarily mutate opponents into harmless small animal versions of themselves (would be so cool to see MK characters designs mixed with mutated animal forms)
There’s a bunch more thoughts on all this, it’s a fun mental exercise if nothing else.

We really need the shredder. He would fit perfectly in MK, especially the one from the TMNT 2000s show. Where he had that lightning sword, and actually 'shredded' Baxter stockman into just a brain and eye, after he failed him too much.
That'd be a PERFECT fatality, just imagine shredder extending his claws as the screen fades black.

I want to see James Heller with an Alex Mercer premiere skin. Specifically Alex Mercer from before the comics and [PROTOTYPE 2], because unless they change the lines, it'd be hard to find James and Alex agreeing on things during the same timeframe.
Also, I imagine if a [PROTOTYPE] was added, a Klyntar probably wouldn't, regardless of how cool an Eddie Brock or even Venom announcer would be.

If blitzø was in mk1 his moveset would be a mix of terminator and Jason and one of his fatalities should be he kills his opponents with an electric chair and his 2nd fatality is that he summons Stolas to finish off his opponent

MK is banned in Japan so unfortunately we probably won't be getting any manga/anime characters added to the game :(. Japan's videogame rating system is pretty strict which is ironic considering how violent and "sus" their other entertainment content can be. From my understanding they don't like games depicting human on human violence but are fine with games where you kill monsters or any other non human creatures violently.
This is odd to me considering how graphic // gory anime's can be

Grog from Critcal role would be perfect and possible. Travis already has his voice in MK1 as time keeper raiden and Critical Role did do a Mortal Kombat One shot livestream. Most members of Critical Role have voiced characters for NR before, like how all three Flash variants you can choose in Injustice 2 are all voiced by members from CR. It is possible and a great fit.

Witchblade - Far too long to not have a female guest character! Plus she has the look, power and moves to fit MK
Lobo- The Uber violent jokey Main Man just screams MK
B (BRZRKR) - The Keanu Reeves written comic with him as violent Demi god. Be tough to get Neo or John Wick but B could make it!
Radiant Black - From maybe the best new hero since Invincible. This much more mature Power Rangers -esque hero would be a good fit for Mk.
Harley Quinn- Again a female guest with the look, moves, and humor for MK
Cameo fighter Nightwolf
One character, in general, that I'd like to see as a DLC character, for Mortal Kombat, would be the Headless Horseman.
If only Ash Williams could get his chance at being in MK yet again. Still, if I had to pick any other guest, it would be Big Head from the Mask. His cartoon violence matches well with Mortal Kombat if I'm entirely honest.
Meat would be a perfect kameo fighter
I think DIO or Kars would be great additions to MK, DIO's Vampiric and stand powers would be very interesting to see, also his ruthless attitude could come with great fatalities. Kars on the other hand is more grounded to the Mortal Kombat Standards, also having some kind of "Ultimate Life form" Transformation would be sick.
Other amazing kombatants would be Dante, The Doom Slayer, Albert Wesker, V1 (Maybe as a kameo), or even Miguel O'hara and Rick Sanchez
Risotto is also a good fit for MK because Metallica has a lot of fatality potential. It was _made_ for fatalities, in fact! His GHA in ASBR can maybe be a fatal blow while his fatality can be him using scissors, razors, and other sharp things come out of their chest similar to how he maimed Doppio, but with more spilling guts, of course.
Kenshi would probably harbor some dislike of him due to being a mafia hitman and still maintaining the drug routes after defeating the Boss. Johnny would call him "tall, dark, and handsome" and "BDSM Clown" as nicknames as announcer tho XD He'd also compare his outfit to bondage gear like his future daughter Cassie XD Risotto could probably comment on how like Ghiacchio, Bi-Han is quite temperamental despite having ice powers
Seeing that you put Denji in the list, the perfect kameo would obviously be Power. It could be other people too but that's what I think. It could make bank too.
I think it’d be really interesting to see a cutesy type character be added to the Mortal Kombat games. Smth along the lines of Isabelle the dog from Animal crossing, which would work if Doomslayer also ended up appearing in a Mortal Kombat game. Going along with the topic of anime/manga characters as well, I think a magical girl would fit really well. Usually those kinds of characters are extremely powerful and it’d be fun to mess around with sparkles and glittery attacks/fatalities. Another option could be someone like Satima from one punch man. I don’t think I’d have to explain that one much lol.
I wish venom was possible, imagine a season where all the characters have symbiote costumes
When I saw a white painted face with black markings around the eyes right after the Mask I immediatly thought about Lobo. He's probably the one I'd like to see added the most in MK 1. He has already been in another Nether Realm game, he has even interacted with the Mask (in one special crossover, where he needs to hunt down The Mask, even using it for a while), so it would even match the ideas of the vídeo and just his whole aesthetic, moveset and especially the interactions with everyone would be perfect in my opinion. I wonder what type of lines he would have with Omni Man, given that Lobo has fought against Superman multiple times and gave him trouble in some of them

As for a few of my own
Yuno Gasai from Future Dairy: shes no stranger to fights to the death and is skilled with knives, swords, and guns...so the posibilities of her moveset are limitless
Lucy from Elfen Lied: a blood soaked anime tbh, her invisible but powerful vecters (few can see them, lets say that includes the MK cast so we can see them too) can involve a surprising range and fstality variation (would you go with her Manga or Anime incarnation though? For balance Id say anime since in the manga she ripped a helocopter out of the sky to kill someone and even wrapped her vecters around the globe)
If you want a sorceress Id say the iconic Lina Inverse of Slayers fits the bill as skilled with many spells
Or maybe Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail, swords spells and various transformations.
Albert Wesker from Resident Evil can also be a great choice.
Or maybe Sephiroth from FF7, if memory serves hes senister as fuck with an iconic design and weapon
I can see that if Venom was in Mortal Kombat, he can do like what in MKX that The Xenomorph from Alien get’s The Blades of Baraka, like maybe a Venomized MK Character (maybe like Sub-Zero, Venom can make one of his arm into a Giant Icicle-like Blade or maybe Liu Kang)
This may sound random but what if Agent 47 was a dlc character. If the creators of Hitman said yes. 47 could be interesting his fatalities should be simple but brutal. Or alternatively he could work as a kameo.

Mortal Kombat ganes seem to go by a specific theme with dlcs, in 10 it was horror movies, 11 was action movies with popular actors, and now 11 is seemingly about fake super heroes. What if we get a horror video game theme? Nemesis, Pyramid Head, the thing from Amnesia, etc
Well now that you’ve mentioned Manga/Anime characters I’ve got one and that’d be Nero-Chaos from the Melty Blood/Tsukihime universe or Maybe someone like Kirei Kotomine from Fate Stay/Night considering his background in martial arts and sheer brutality when it comes down to facing his opponents and if not then we can get Geralt from The Witcher series and an idea for both of his fatalities would be his first where he sets the opponent on fire with igni and uses aard to blast their limbs away, as for the second one I think he could just do a bunch of fancy twirls until his opponent is mince meat. As for Nero I know there are characters who’re way more brutal than him but he or Kirei would just make a bunch of sense to me

I know you said you’re an ideas guy and not a programmer, but an issue I see with chainsaw man’s blood meter is you would either win hard or lose hard.
Also the spider-man franchise is owned by Sony, not Disney. Not saying this is Venoms ticket into MK but it’s more likely then you probably think
I would LOVE to see Shredder and Eric Draven “the Crow” make it into Mortal Kombat 1, especially The Crow, because like you said, he’s got that dark antihero thing going like Spawn… he would fit so perfectly into Mortal Kombat 1!👌🏻💯
A main fighter I'd like to see in Mortal Kombat 1 is Brock Samson for Venture Brothers he'd be perfect fighter and I could see why he wasn't added in the last Mortal Kombat Ranbo also using a bowie knife but i feel like he'd fit perfectly into the Mortal Kombat 1 roster.
With how the Venture Bros is with magic portals or a science test portals who says Brock can't find his way in Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2 or possibly 3.
As for a Kameo Fighter hands down it would need to be Mokap.

Okay so denji is already a brutal fighting machine in the csm series, so he isn’t new to gore and blood. For his intros he could be in normal human form while clashing and then when he gets pushed back or he pushes his opponent back he could then yank his chord and transforming. He would have really sick interactions with people like for example baraka baraka would say “are you afflicted by a new strand of tarkat?” And denji would reply “what is tarkat?” Sindel “Bow before the empress of outworld” denji “whatever you say mama” (not exactly like this but similar) Ashrah “It appears we’re both on a path towards seemingly unattainable goals” denji “we both have some inner demons” I also thjnk he would be the perfect character to reintroduce friendships into mk1 with his being him playing with pochita
I also think Itadori and sukuna would also be great for mk1 and i think they could add todo as a kameo i think itadori and sukuna would either be a stance character like kenshi and shang tsun or sukuna could be a come back mechanic something like when you get low enough he says something along the lines of “my turn” and he comes out and change your moveset to be more high risk high reward balls to the wall tupe beat also i havent watched the video as of wrtinf this so id any of the ideas i had match some in the video my bad
(Edit) i also have some more ankme ideas for mk1 like of course a jojo skin for geras but also hear me out i know the meme is kenshi has a stand but what about a Tomioka giyuu skin and instead of having his magic being blue ghost like magc is water magic like water breathing keeping the blue hues while also making the skin make sense and unique and also i think the warding mask (which i know we never saw giyuu’s mask in the show or manga) would be a really sick replacement for the blindfold
I think Skeletor would be cool to see. He is extremely iconic and a favorite of many. His interactions would be hilarious and his abilities would be varied
Jotaro Kujo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure will be great addition to Mortal Kombat 1. He will be voiced by Matthew Mercer. And he'll have his fatalities just like in the anime. his first fatality will be that one episode who defeat Steely Dan. And his second fatality will be Stop time and break Shang Tsung legs and kill him just like Stardust Crusaders Episode 48

I had a few ideas some were just before writing this. 1. I feel like red hood from the dc universe would have a good move set as seen in injustice 2 especially since he’s fine with killing. 2. DIO from jjba part 3 I think he’d probably be a bit op but maybe they could just save the time stopping for fatalities, brutalities, fatal blows etc. 3. Nemesis, or any other resident evil antagonist and I mean classic nemesis not the new one. Plenty of tools for a move set and he should be on par with other fighters in terms of power. The only issue I see is how tall he is. 4. Deadpool. Marvel v capcom is enough evidence for a move set and I’m sure he’s good with getting his hands and the rest of him dirty. 5. I don’t know why but Bayonetta. If you played her games you know where I’m going here. Her moveset is already set not just with her own games but smash bros as well. I honestly think Bayonetta would be perfect for Mk, almost too perfect. But ay idk.
The other 5 I had popped into my head as I was watching this video. Simon or richter Belmont. Marcus from gears of war. One punch man or any other character from his series. Goku cuz if Omni man who destroyed a whole alien civilization in like 5 minutes can get in so can Goku. And the Demogorgon from stranger things similar to Mkx and the alien character.

I think it would be pretty funny to have someone like meat or mokap as a kameo, just as a joke or to return the forgotten

I know it's impossible, but i like to imagine Alan Grant from Jurassic Park as a character in Mortal Kombat, talking about the moveset it would be more like a close combat character using the Velociraptor claw like a knife similar to the Lego Jurassic Park game, he could also use a flare to deal fire damage and cause the opponent to progressively lose health, and with the Velociraptor whistle that he uses in the third movie he could call one of these dinosaurs and enter a posture similar to that of Kenshi, controlling only the Velociraptor by spending the Kameo bar and moving away from the combat when he receives damage, for fatalitys i can think him activating the flare and giving it to the opponent, with that the Tyranosaurus will appear and eat the rival, or will be the juvenile version like in the novel who eats your opponent.
I repeat, I know it's impossible but it's like a headcanon

I would like Joel Miller from the last of us. Why because his fatalities could be so good for example of fatality where he shoots off your legs and feeds you to a bunch of clickers, and finally when you turn into a zombie, or you get eaten by the clickers, but if you turn into the zombies, you try to attack him, but then you get shot in the head with a shotgun. The second fatality could be him, punching off your jaw and throwing you to a bunch of runners clickers and bloaters And he would just throw a bomb in there and a Molotov to finish all of you off or another fatality. You could punch off your jaw and throw a Molotov at you and shove a bomb in your mouth.
I forgot to mention one that likely wouldn't be added due to her moveset probably being too meta for MK1

If they added her then her moveset could be based on knowing shes in a game and breaking the code. A bar can fill as the fight happens and her moves change form and gain power as the fight progresses. Maybe even habe the stage distort as the bar fills to show shes "hacking the code"
