- Rishi Sunak has claimed that "more will change in the next five years than the last 30”, as the Prime Minister delivered a speech about his plans for the future of the country.
“I’m convinced that the next few years will be some of the most dangerous yet the most transformational that our country has ever known,” Sunak added.
Talk’s Mike Graham is joined by The Independent’s John Rentoul to discuss the Prime Minister’s speech, as well as new benefits laws and the latest in Angela Rayner’s tax affairs.
John Rentoul says: “It’s a bit of a strange way to launch your long election campaign, to tell people how bad everything is going to be.”
