I'll tell you this much, this is a systemic issue up and down the lineup. You have ONE GUY who has not been in a slump the majority of the season. That IS a manager problem. The Phillies in '22 had the EXACT same problem the Braves had now, fired their manager and almost instantly became one of the best teams in baseball. They went on to embarrass the 101 win Braves in the playoffs and make the world series.
I have no say in the hirings and firings of the Braves staff, all I can do is my part by showing my personal displeasure. Dont care what happens tomorrow or the rest of the season from here, im not spending a dime going to a game, or anything else that gives the club money til they change managers.
Brian Stinker for all i hear is a great guy. I do not dislike him as a person. He was the right guy to nurture a young club with no expectations and put them on track. He is not the right manager to lead a serious contender filled with proven veteran (should be) talent to playoff and world series success. He has no fire in him, no fight he just lets the chips fall as they may and we need a pitbull who is ok chewing these guys up til they get their act together.
I agree 100%. Snitker’s leadership style is the issue. When you get 70% out of this talent, you have to get someone that will squeeze 150% out of our “stars” and it starts at the helm. AA has done the best with the money that’s available to him. Thank you for your service Snit but those are the breaks in MLB.

I want them to play Kelenic everyday ik that won’t fix all our problems but I believe he could be a big everyday guy and he’s definitely playing better than Duvall…
Duvall has 3 hits this month in 10 games and his slash line is plummeting every month. He shouldn't be anything more than a bench bat/4th OF.
I know it's only mid June but they can't replace him fast enough to at least address one of the issues that can be easily fixed.
Why would you replace Kelenic with Anderson? Should have replaced Duvall! Call up Short for Arcia!
The Braves played well enough to keep me interested. There were some good defensive plays.

People how quickly you have forgotten Duvall when his bat was hot. I don't know what's wrong with the braves offense. I don't know if it's a lack of confidence, a collection of bad habits, timing is off, lack of concentration, bad biomechanics, or what. Maybe they need to burn some sage to chase the evil spirits away or something.

I don't think that chipper wants to be a manager. He doesn't want to be on the road that often. He wants some time with his family.
Braves won the WS in 2021 just by luck, they somehow always manages to not win. So sad

Sure, the season isn't over next week or July, but my statement was about by the All-Star break, and they are only 8 games from being there from what I stated, within over a month to go while playing like trash. You act like it's far fetched they are not down another 8 games?
You know baseball so well, educate me when they are going to learn how to score runs? You know so much about baseball, how many games are we going to win scoring 1 or 2 runs most nights as a repeated pattern and where do you see us gaining in the standings any time soon looking like this? The track record in 2024 is suck. Period

That's not always true. Some teams don't get hot until after the All-Star break.

I don't think you realize how good Braves fans have had it. They're contenders almost every year and recently won a championship. They've won the division 21 times the last 32 years. That's insane! A lot of fans will never see their teams win it all. Just be happy they've had as much success as they've had.

that's insane. lol. They lost their 2 best players for the season. It just may be a retooling year. Get some of the young guys some experience they otherwise wouldn't have got. The core is locked up for years. Just run it back next year and hopefully stay healthy.
