Matt at the start of the game: "I don't run that many counterspells!'
Matt later in the game: 💀

Lmao 9 total counterspells in the deck, can't help if I drew almost all of them 😂 🤷‍♂️

Nice vid. Just a reminder that Malcolm and Glinthorn can and will win responding to all the OBM triggers.

Thank you! I'm very happy with how this vid turned out! So in regards to Malcom and Glinthorn, I'm fairly certain that is not the case. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you activate glinthorn to draw and discard. The trigger to deal the damage goes on the stack and then the OBM trigger goes on the stack. OBM trigger resolves first, before the glinthorn trigger has resolved to deal the damage and the Malcolm trigger to make the treasures.

@@CelestialWinnerGaming nop; you activate it by discarding which triggers the damage which triggers the treasures from Malcolm and then you draw and that triggers OBM and you can respond to that trigger by discarding and paying the 2 mana cost with the treasures. You first discard as the activation cost of Glinthorn and the pay off for that discarding (and 2 mana) is that you get to draw a card.

Ah yes, you are right. Thank you for pointing that out. I completely forgot that the discard was part of the activation, not the resolution.
OBM still not great for a Malcolm/Kediss deck, with them having 2 and 1 tough ess respectively, but thank you for pointing out the glinthorn line can still win through it.
