For those of you who don't know, Shaolin kung fu is one of the oldest and hardest forms of martial arts. A lot of MMA and other martial arts originated from Shaolin kung fu. You may have seen many MMA fighter vs Shaolin Monk videos on RUclips. Shaolin masters can develop crazy abilities like iron fist, extreme flexibility, and the ability to run on water.

Thanks for this...This is great to watch because I can relate to some of the things you are feeling. I myself started my own Kung Fu journey about 6 months ago online with Shifu Wang until I can go train in person. When I first started I worked construction, and was totally out of shape. When you did the stretch at 3:38 I remember not even being able to get that low. It's hard to do by yourself, but no progress on my end means my instruction stops.
I zoom with him until I can go train at his school. Kung fu changed my life, and it was an unexpected...Im not sure what to call it because it's totally changing me and how I engage with life. Sorry for the book. I have felt the same things I was watching you feel...including the doubt.
Thanks for doing this! Inspires me to go practice and that's why I wanted to say hi! Looking forward to the rest of the episdoes.

like what they said our mind psychologically controls our self so that we choose the most relaxing way which is to quit after feeling pain since it would feed you that its okay to be mediocre its okay to be weak as long as you are fine and not feeling painful thats the barier that everyone meet always, it means that barier is a to death/life gate that you need to surpass ten you can go without fear on improving

First off I wanna say props to you and what I'm about to say is just my opinion and overall what you did was good.
compared to the training I did when I practiced wushu in my youth, master yandi was so merciful to you it's not even funny, if I couldn't stretch my master would sit on me to force it out, frog hop up and down the steps 500 times a day skipping 3-4 steps sometimes to practice balance.
Overall the most important thing you learn is all this really makes you tougher, when people push you down you can always bounce back, I'm no longer able to spilt but I can still kick above my head, the hard work you put in stays with you everything degrades if you don't put effort in it.
Thank you for making this video and all the things master yandi said really reminded me of things my master used to tell me.
