I was a cook in the navy and I just started filing. I found out we cooks get tinnitus easily. I also am going for PTSD, my shave profile, and my broken hand that occurred from my rack dropping in my hand. I got out in 2016 and was denied for my claims in 2018. Resubmitted this year and things seem to be going smoother. Hoping to just finally get a rating
I'm at 90% (First try straight from active duty). 5 years later bro I just started an Increase to power me up to 100%, the benefits counselor/s I'm working with are highly confident that some of my disabilities can easily get me 100, I'm nervous but instead of going with the VSO I decided to go with a third party benefits counselor (Recommended by other vets)..I hope I get it man, all is documented in active duty and VA health care, wish me luck brother 🇺🇲
aye shipmate, if you’re having headaches constantly or unusual pain in your head. better get that checked real quick, because most people never do and in most cases they die with aneurysm. just looking out for you bro, stay safe and thank you for your service
Your experience was a cake walk because you were encouraged to go to medical while you were in and thus had very easy service connections in your medical record. The issue is with people in the Army and Marines that were hazed away from going to medical for any issues and now they are trying to get rated for them but there is zero evidence of being seen for said issue while in service. The VA will often flat out deny any of these claims.
Hi! Hope you’re doing better as a Civilian now. I watch RUclips: In the Kitchen with Gina Young. Great recipe “Glazed Honey Garlic Chicken” picked up all ingredients. I’ve enjoyed a couple of her recipes. Also, don’t know if U used a Pressure Cooker in USN; its really quick and easy clean up; shrimp 🍤 texture is amazing as well as Pulled BBQ Shoulder Roast with Rootbeer Soda; your wife & baby girl should appreciate all you’ve accomplished. Get ready for Booster VAX - right arm. I use your word now “Deuce.” :)
If you are just 100% scheduler not P and T especially with TBI you will have a future exam. I myself had an exam 3 years later to ask about my TBI and other service connected issues. But after those exams they awarded me 100% P and T with Two SMCs. So keep seeking medical treatment. If you said Permanent and Total I may have missed it. But still good for others to know. 👍🏽🇺🇸

But don’t always sleep I don’t sleep with it always I’m going to start sleeping with it every night I’ve been dinosose with it. If an injury occurred prior to service you can still get disability but only if the injury was “aggravated” while in service. Or if it got worse while you served.

@Zane Evers. EAOS End of active obligated service PRD is your projection rotation date. This is when you are supposed to transfer from your current command. SEAOS this means that you have an extension that was signed either a 12 month or 24- months. So say your EAOS is DEC 2022 and your PRD and SEAOS is DEC 2024 this will be your new date to get out the military because when you got your orders you had to sign an obligation I.e extension to execute said orders. This basically means that you cannot transfer until you fulfill those obligation unless you have a medical issue which requires a separation. I hope this explains it.
