- Today I am back with a little watercolor review!
My boyfriend gifted me the RoyalTalens VanGogh "Muted Colors" Pocket Box and in this video I will finally unbox, test it and in the end give my honest opinion!
This video took me two days to edit and I am officially dead lol. But I had a lot of fun with this one! :D

I love van Gogh paint… After I bought this pallet, I took the pans out, And put them in a larger tin pallet with other van Gogh paint I have… Still trying to figure out what to do with the little weird pallet lol :-) i’m glad you figured out that the bright colors were carefully selected primaries that are good for color mixing. Not many people know that and gave a harsh critique when reviewing this product. Great illustrative style, I really like both of your paintings :-)
i have the basic pocket box! i haven’t used it in months but i enjoy it too !
I started using watercolours with a starter box from VanGogh :D if you dislike the box, i would suggest changing the box soon. getting the pans out of it can be hell.
The lavender colour looked so pretty 😍
Also Robin looks so cool and the two paintings you did were really stunning! It would be amazing to see you make more art with that palette 💖💖💖

I have this set, a lot of the colors there aren't actually muted. But it's a serviceable palette. Lovely painting btw!

But how stated in the video I am convinced that they put these colors in there because they result in muted mixes - which then would be fitting obviously :)
I'm a tidy artist as well.i don't mix on my pallet.
