Dear admin, Why you still use to benchmark i9 13900K while there are better CPUs? Like 14900K, 7950X3D or 7800X3D? I just want to know
Both cpu and gpu stay very cool.
Double the money for 30% more performance.. no thanks
In a better world the 4080 would be $700 and the 4090 would be $1.000
I wonder how cheap the AMD counterparts of this cards if they are that cheap.

i hope so!
Well you would expect a big difference for an almost 1000$ gap between the two cards (I know the 4090 has a 1600$ MSRP, but good luck finding one at that price). Whereas the 4080 S is "only" 200$ more expensive than the 4070 TI S.

Oh come on. You don't have to say the truth
I mean the 4090 is $1600-2000 I would expect the difference to be 20-40 fps more than 4080
With 10-30FPS less on the 4080S, and average 80 watt more power usage on 4090, the 4080S wins hands down!!
Since the 4080 S is $1000, the 4090 really should be $1200
In my country 4080s price at 1800$ while the 4090 is 2000$. There you go 200$ difference

Good performance for the 4090, but huge power draw also 👀. On some games 400w+. I hope next generation a 5070 like same 4090 performance and less power consumption.

@@lobiankk77 will be. 5070 ti will be same or better than 4090. this isn't rocket science newbie. 4070 ti beats 3090 as well, and 3090 was just as pricey and good when it was released as 4090 now.
@@dex4sure361 We were taking about the 5070, not the 5070 Ti, "newbie". Yes, the 4070 Ti is faster than the 3090, but the 4070 is barely as fast as 3080, so I predict the 5070 will be 4080/4080S levels of performance.

Awesome work dude! However, I think you should _definitely_ add Arma Reforger to your testing roll. It may not be as well known, or popular title as others you usually use for testing but its lighting simulation and insane distant rendering will easily put any CPU/GPU combo through its paces.
Какая у тебя программа для счётчика фпс?
Watching this to see what I missed out on buying a full rig for $2500 with a 4080 Super
I kinda miss your 1440p testing, but I guess it'll just be a lot better FPS off 1440P so you can count on more lol.
4090 is baseline performance imo for real 'next gen' - even if it takes until the 6000 series for it to be the norm under $600
remember when the 1080Ti was super expensive? the release price at the time was $700.. now compare that to the current gpu prices
RTX cards are exponentially more advanced than a 1080 Ti. Computer graphics tech has passed you by.
To me the 4080S makes more sense at $999 vs $1599 (if you can even find it at that price but mostly $1799 now). Why? Because the 4090 in most modern demanding titles can't even do 120fps on average but does get closer to the 100fps vs the 4080S. The 4080S can do 60fps in 4K. Pay almost 60% less now and enjoy 4K 60fps until 5000 or 6000 series cards come out for less than $1k for 4K@120FPS is my next target.
Would like a new GPU for Microsoft Flight Simulator in VR. Although 4k is good on both my VR headset (G2) is native at 33% more pixels than 4K which I don’t think is enough on either of these without making adjustments. Have to wait until RTX 5000 for better value.
Nice refresh, nice prices :))) happy with my 4060
😂
Rtx 4090 for gaming is only a show-off. Doubled price of 4080S, like 20-40% fps increase but also 40% more power usage. Its really not worth it.
4090 is the king of undevolt though. Mine runs at 320W with no loss in performance.
It’s not double the price it’s like 40% more expensive. For like 30% more performance. Which is good. There’s a law of diminishing returns. Double the performance costs more than double the price to make. The more performance the more each percent increase costs to manufacture.

@@dg7438 Can I ask you smth. Have you played with your 4080 S AFOP or Hogwarts?
The thing is I've seen videos on YT where ppl played AFOP on 4k on their 4080 and action moves (mouse turns) were smooth.. For me on 4k it's very jerky.. like it's 20 fps, although 4k, DLSS, upscaling Biased, Ultra quality hits 40-60 fps, depends.
But it's really unplayable when I have to like turn camera fast. Idk if it's my GPU or what.
The only smoother Way is to turn "biased-performamce(or ultra performance), but then again quality is not so good, and a lot of smearing and a lot of shadow noises.
Plus my biggest concern is when I watch any movie/video file either it's local file or RUclips/Netflix - any camera movement or character movement is like it's 20 fps.... Disappointing.. can't even ignore it, it's so visible... No smooth video..No matter if it's FHD or 4k. Same. When with my old AMD GPU videos were perfect, I've never even noticed anything like that before anywhere.
Anyone has an idea?

Is Alan Wake 2 this heavy or just can't optimize it?
Alan wake 2 uses mesh
@AzZulski could explain it to me, please? I have no idea what is this mesh 😂
Alan Wake 2 uses mesh shading to render lighting and its display on the models. I am not a computer science major, I am an engineering major, but this is what I've picked up on so far.
The 3D models in games are just a bunch of triangles put together. Those triangles have edges called vertexes, so you'd use vertex shading to calculate the appearance of each one. There are other methods used in tandem such as compute and geometry shading, but the primary focus is with vertex shading. For most titles, this is a good foundation since the appearance is largely static and doesn't really need to change (Render distance and other elements are largely separate from this). However, if you have a game that does a lot of scaling up and down the detail, say, zooming in on a face for a live cutscene, or you're constantly changing what's in frame and what isn't, you drastically jack up the vertex count and need a method that is far more dynamic to match the needs instead of just computing all the vertices and then throwing it all away because it's not used.
This is where mesh shading comes in. It helps break up the computational requirements into parallel chunks for the GPU to process, making it far more efficient. But, of course, you need a GPU that can handle this parallel processing (Which is why the GTX 10-series runs like dog water for Alan Wake II). NVidia's video demonstrating the technology (ruclips.net/video/CRfZYJ_sk5E/видео.htmlsi=MZaf7hYISKj0posO) does a decent job of visualizing on a basic level where this technology would be useful, such as a constantly changing environment where as objects get closer, its important to render more detail

@@SupremacyGamesYTLol, FG is an amazing tech, it reduces CPU bottleneck so in theory you can even save more money on CPU, but CPU are so good value rn it doesn't matter.
There is a AFMF mod that works on RTX cards only, never tried FG but this mod is pretty decent. If reviewers say it's still a step behind FG, Im sure no one would complain about that tech
Alan Wake looks like a Resident Evil knockoff.
It somewhat is
Normally the difference is $1000 and there is no fps at all. Why such a price on the rtx 4090
Double the price for just about 25% more performance
Absolutely worth it Nvidia
isnt this normal for high end cards???? higher end should never be more value than lower end cards, unless ur talking about the 4060 or 4060 ti this gen which is the exception
@@turtleboi9385generally it’s a bell curve of value yes. Usually the 60 class has the best fps/$ anything above or below usually has worse value and gets worse the farther you stray from the 60 card.
However Nvidia has definitely tried to lessen the value gap by raising prices of lower class cards to push people up the ladder. 4090 at $1600 vs a 4080 at $1200 actually was pretty similar value. 33% price jump for 25-40% better performance.
Why is a 4080 $1000? Jesus, imagine the price of everything below it. I'm glad I don't need a GPU right now. Hopefully 50 will return to sanity, or the economy will if it's that's fault.
Everyone looks at the big gap in performance, and they’re like, “Wow, it’s very big, the 4080s doesn’t reach it at all" but why don’t they all look at the fact that the damn 4090 costs TWO THOUSAND BUCKS!, and the 4080s costs a THOUSAND, the difference between them like TWO 4080s, or ONE 4090, or one thousand buy 4080s and for another thousand all the necessary components, or just 4090, just think, now this comparison is more suitable, right!?
Maybe you guys have better eyes than me, but I can’t tell the difference.
@deadchannel7895 Right. Thanks for pointing out how smart you are. So then since you're so smart, what's the purpose of posting a comparison on YT if they are going to look the same anyway?
i will buy 4080s when it will cost around 250$ :) For now 3060ti is more than enough for me
So, it seems worth the penny. Right?
Ummm actually there are 100,000 pennies in 1000 dollars 🤓
I don't think so bro, spending so much just to get a 30-40fps boost? Plus 16gb vram is enough not to talk about 24gb vram, if you have the money and you wanna go overkill then buy the 4090 but if you don't wanna waste them buy the 4080s cus that'd be the way id go
@@davidebakwo343 i thought there is a significant price/fps difference between those high end cards. Imagine building a cutting edge system, you must consider this 20 fps difference in current gen games. Right?
@@SwedishMarksman yeah but I feel the 4090 is too much😂
nah double the price for this is not worth it if you are not some rich person@@SwedishMarksman
4080 Super looks more worth 😂
I’d rather have a card that does not melt 😢
For everyone the 4090 seems to be the best buy! how can you justify a 1000$ price difference???? cmon!
The high-ends gpu's like the 4090 is for the same people every year and Nvidia likes to make money giving 25% more performance.
guys recommend me a good laptop with rtx 4090 pls
My next upgrade: RTX 5090... ;-)
thanks!
I bet my overclock settings for 4080super get close to 4090
I'm thinking of changing my 4090 for the s 6000 xd
If the 4090 was at 1499$ it would sell like crazy
I'd definitely buy one, but not at the current price
@youtubepidari it just means the RTX6000AG is extremely overpriced and the 4090 is overpriced. The profit on each card is insane, even at 2k for the 4090 instead of 8k
@youtubepidariNvidia makes massive margins off their professional cards, they always have. The price to make the cards themselves is nowhere near the price they sell for.
Nvidia is able to ask as much as they do because businesses use the cards to make money thus can justify a higher cost, gamers just use them to have fun.
The problem isn’t that they don’t make money off gamers, they do, the problem is that they can make so much more off of professionals at the moment due to AI. So they have to be able to justify manufacturing gaming cards by raising prices otherwise they’d be better off making only professional cards.
The days of $200 GPUs from Nvidia are dead because it’s a waste of fab space at the moment.
I got it at that price?
