Out of the box they are similar in some games but the 7800x3d is better overall in gaming and it cost a lot less. Im sure you can get a decent amount of more performance out of the 7950x3d over the 7800x3d but you have to know what you are doing. In productivity the 7950x or the 7950x3d wins in a landslide.
Dont get why people hate on the 40super line. Got the 4070ti super myself last week and absolutly love it. Performance is good, heat is low and whisper quiet. Came from a RX6950XT that sounded like a jet engine.🤣
Most people complaining are all people who have a 4080 or some other 40xx and don’t see the point in upgrading so they call it another cash grab. These cards are not for those already in a current gen or even 2nd gen of the 30xx line. It’s meant for people 3-4 generations behind who want to upgrade but can still move their current cards to supplement. I had a 4070ti but upgraded to the 4080 super today. Sold my 4070ti for 650 to my buddy who is building a rig next week. Saved him some money and got my upgrade for the card I wanted but didn’t want to spend 2-3 times the MSRP on the 4080 a year ago.

Would a 750w PSU, specifically MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750W 80+ gold, be a good enough PSU to power a system with 4080 super and 7800x3d? I saw the recommended is 850w, but I dont wanna upgrade psu unless I really need to
I currently have a RX 580 and Ryzen 5 5600x and am looking to get a 4080 super with 14700kf, hopefully I can get more that 50 fps in warzone with the new PC lol
I have the ak500 on my 7800x3D and it does pretty well. Temps never go above 75ish which I think is pretty decent for an already hot cpu. I should’ve went for the 620 with the display screen but I didn’t really think it was worth the extra money.
Not a fan of the cooler. It covers a lot of the motherboard hiding aesthetics. That being said, if I was going for an all black build with no window, then it would be a good way to go.
I would run the benchmark to see where the bottleneck is. It actually splits the results between cpu and gpu. It will give you a percentage showing the bottleneck.
If i had to make one complaint, it's always safer to enable EXPO, XMP, DOCP etc. after installing you OS, as not all RAM kits, motherboards, and CPU's can actually run the memory at the advertised sppeds. Sometimes it can run it, but may crash at random, and you want to avoid you PC crashing whilst installing you operating system as that is asking for a curropted OS.
What components or setup would you recommend that would make swapping out a 4080 to a 4090 an easy plug and play swap? I would like to get a 4080 until I can afford the 4090 but I want to avoid additional expenses when doing so.
Updated my PC earlier last year (X670e MotherBoard, 32gb Ram and an 7800X3D) did it in preparation as I've been using my Rtx 2070 Super for years) Just Purchased a 4080 Super, bit of an upgrade😅. Can't wait!
Buying at least a 1,000-watt size is an excellent place to start. This is the size I purchased when I built my PC with a 4090 GPU and i9 -13900KS CPU. You can buy for today's needs, but plan for the future.
omg the cpu temps. i feel bad for your CPU, what cooling method you use? what fan or aio, I really wanna know,,,, i watched around 10 separate videos with same specs gaming builds and they all have extremely high temps just like in here for this r7 7800x3d CPU. why is it, is the rtx 4080 super bottlenecking the r7 7800x3d or something ?
How do yoy think the micro variant of this case will do with a 4080 super? I checked it will fit but what about temps? I think the strix cooler is so OP i probbaby will be fine? Wont worry about my cpu it runs cool.
4080 super is a super videocard! I have updated from RTX 4070 t0 RTX 4080 Super and have +50% fps! This videocard is a great choice for 100-160fps gaming in 2K, even in Native 2K. I also use SLDSR 4K for better image for my 2K monitor, and it helps to get sharp image even in such blurry games like Uncharted 4, Forbidden West, Robocop, Mafia 3 and so on. I'm so glad to get this videocard. It's great to play ultra with high fps

The PC I am building is "The PC Centric Personal Rig 2023!" I want to make sure everything is the right part its the only part unavailble rn. PLEASE HELP!!
at 11:45 I would have adjusted the CPU cooler fans to allow myself to install them further from the case exhaust fan. At least I think it might help the hot air the GPU is gonna spit out escape a little better. (and I also wanna see the fan on the front of the cooler) (edit) so instead of having the fans in the middle slot and the left, have them on the right side and the middle slot of the cooler
I got all my parts now except the motherboard. I ordered it a week ago and it will arrive in April 15th to April 19th. I have the patience to wait but I just checked now, why would it choose the the last? Before It usually arrives on the first day of the estimated date.
Im looking for a more economical build for 4k gaming: How does this setup sound: 16 gb ram 1 tb ssd Rtx 4080 super I5 13 gen Some cheap motherboard 1/3 the processor price 750w bronze power supply A random full atx case Stock cpu fan if they give that or some cheap fan

I currently have a RX 580 and Ryzen 5 5600x and am looking to get a 4080 super with 14700kf, hopefully I can get more that 50 fps in warzone with the new PC lol
Just built my second computer, Ryzen 7800x
4080 super
64gb ram
M.2 2TB
Lian li fans cooler and case 🪛
The ryzen 9 7900x3d is 33% off on Amazon right now making it similar price as the ryzen 7. Is there any reason not to get the upgrade to the 9?
So expensive comparing to the original 4080 in my country
My wallet says 4080 super but my ego says 4090.. decisions, decisions..
I can afford a 4090 but should I ?
I have the Deepcool ak620 on my 7600x and it works really well.
I have the ak500 on my 7800x3D and it does pretty well. Temps never go above 75ish which I think is pretty decent for an already hot cpu. I should’ve went for the 620 with the display screen but I didn’t really think it was worth the extra money.
the 4080 super where I live is just like $129 more than the 4070 ti super... I am getting the 40870 s then in september
I was so scared seeing that GPU standing on the edge of the table when you were swinging stuff around.
Ordering mine cant waittt
same bro
Not a fan of the cooler. It covers a lot of the motherboard hiding aesthetics. That being said, if I was going for an all black build with no window, then it would be a good way to go.
What was the bug with cyberpunk?
Screwdriver did nothing got me 😂

This somewhat similar build will cost me 3.52k in my country 😂😂😂
I've just built more or less this exact build! Absolutely well pleased.
i must get some bottlenecking or my network is laggy cause i get 110-120fps in warzone with dlss on quality and 90 with dlaa on my 4080 non-super
What CPU?
I would run the benchmark to see where the bottleneck is. It actually splits the results between cpu and gpu. It will give you a percentage showing the bottleneck.
If i had to make one complaint, it's always safer to enable EXPO, XMP, DOCP etc. after installing you OS, as not all RAM kits, motherboards, and CPU's can actually run the memory at the advertised sppeds. Sometimes it can run it, but may crash at random, and you want to avoid you PC crashing whilst installing you operating system as that is asking for a curropted OS.
I was thinking of getting 4070 Super - opinions?
Amd is better to get if you play don’t use rt but I think go with ti super if you can
@@divin3-_-shotzz621how’s the 7900 xtx?
What components or setup would you recommend that would make swapping out a 4080 to a 4090 an easy plug and play swap? I would like to get a 4080 until I can afford the 4090 but I want to avoid additional expenses when doing so.
It all depends on your set up but I would go with more then what you need at a reasonable price so higher tier components and not the bare minimum.
Updated my PC earlier last year (X670e MotherBoard, 32gb Ram and an 7800X3D) did it in preparation as I've been using my Rtx 2070 Super for years)
Just Purchased a 4080 Super, bit of an upgrade😅. Can't wait!
Yes that is a huge upgrade.
This was fun to watch as I am finishing literally this same build now!
Liking the improvement to editing. Keep it up.
What cameras do you use?
BMPCC6K cameras
@@TechHunterOfficial thank you.
will i need to get a new psu when getting the 4070ti super ? cause i plan on getting one soon and havent gotten a clear answer
You buy life insurance in case you should die early. I bought a 1000-watt PSU so my PC will not die early.
What is your current power supply? I would get an 850 watt or 1,000 watt power supply. Get more then what you need.
Buying at least a 1,000-watt size is an excellent place to start. This is the size I purchased when I built my PC with a 4090 GPU and i9 -13900KS CPU. You can buy for today's needs, but plan for the future.
@@outlet6989 i also went with 1,000 watts for my 4090 build as well.

omg the cpu temps. i feel bad for your CPU, what cooling method you use? what fan or aio, I really wanna know,,,, i watched around 10 separate videos with same specs gaming builds and they all have extremely high temps just like in here for this r7 7800x3d CPU. why is it, is the rtx 4080 super bottlenecking the r7 7800x3d or something ?
How do yoy think the micro variant of this case will do with a 4080 super? I checked it will fit but what about temps? I think the strix cooler is so OP i probbaby will be fine? Wont worry about my cpu it runs cool.
1000W or 850 for 4080 super?
I would go with 1,000 watt gold or platinum or titanium power supply. I would rather get more instead of less.
It's great to play ultra with high fps
im looking at your personal build on amazon can you link me a mother board that is compatible and close to the the ASUS ROG Crosshair GENE bc it is out of stock. The PC I am building is "The PC Centric Personal Rig 2023!" I want to make sure everything is the right part its the only part unavailble rn. PLEASE HELP!!
Let's assume the 4080 super and 7900 xtx are both right in front of you and you get to pick one for free. Which card are you taking?
at 11:45 I would have adjusted the CPU cooler fans to allow myself to install them further from the case exhaust fan. At least I think it might help the hot air the GPU is gonna spit out escape a little better. (and I also wanna see the fan on the front of the cooler)
(edit) so instead of having the fans in the middle slot and the left, have them on the right side and the middle slot of the cooler
Hey pc centric why dont you use the ryzen 9 950x3d or a newer cpu
The 7800x3d is 200$ cheaper and beats it in performance
newer doesn’t mean better
That processor cooler is way too bulky…
I got all my parts now except the motherboard. I ordered it a week ago and it will arrive in April 15th to April 19th. I have the patience to wait but I just checked now, why would it choose the the last? Before It usually arrives on the first day of the estimated date.
Im looking for a more economical build for 4k gaming:
How does this setup sound:
16 gb ram
1 tb ssd
Rtx 4080 super
I5 13 gen
Some cheap motherboard 1/3 the processor price
750w bronze power supply
A random full atx case
Stock cpu fan if they give that or some cheap fan
Good luck buying one lol
scalpers strike again for me… they were up for sale for like 2 minutes than sold out.
Than up for sale again for 2200 😂😂😂
normal que se te resbale, estas en infrapeso xDD
Love watching your videos. You’re so funny 😂
Does anyone know if I can swap the 4080 super for the 4090 suprim liquid x in this build? I really like the components, but I would love to use a 4090 😊
Which monitor are you using for the test
All yall can cry about the card im upgrading from a 2070 super to the 4080 super💀
Going from a fx8350 with r9 290 to a 78003d with 4080 super. Hope i get noticible better fps
