    1. Oppenheimer

    *Also, I hope the Oscars remember to add Akira Toriyama the creator of the Dragon Ball franchise to the “in Memoriam “ section.

    Let's be honest, Oppenheimer is a clear sweep at the Oscars at this point. Earlier in the summer, barbenheimer was a phenomenon during the box office, but when it mattered the most during the awards season, Oppenheimer was winning everything. Take a back seat, Barbie, Oppenheimer is in charge of the wheel

    Bradley Cooper will be the biggest looser of the night. The portrayal of Bernstein in Maestro is sickeningly false. It's based on Bernstein's children, who have no idea what he was doing to damage classical music. I posted a video on my RUclips channel titled THE BERNSTEIN EFFECT that explains the collateral damage he caused to the arts. I studied with one of his friends, Ivan Davis, who also performed with him. I know other gay friends of his who tell a completely different story than is told in this movie. In both of my videos, I document how he ruined the way symphonies and concertos are performed. His teachings eliminated the development of processing variables in bigger and bigger batches, which destroyed the intellectual development of conductors, pianists and composers. This destroyed classical music as an art form and a business. Most of the classical recordings are now vanity records. Bernstein was a toxic force in the arts. Bad movie = bad night at the Oscars

    It's kind of tragic that Godzilla: Minus One is just gonna win Visual Effects purely based on narrative. Because it really isn't nearly as impressive as The Creator. Like it's just simply not even in the same ballpark to be honest. The work on The Creator and the process is revolutionary. But I guess it's as tough for the Academy to make a right VFX decision as it is to nominated an animated film for anything else than animated feature.

    • @ricardocalderondelabarca6785
      @ricardocalderondelabarca6785 3 месяца назад +3

      I don't think it's purely based on narrative. The vfx are more impressive than some of the newest Marvel pictures, specially considering Godzilla's 15M dollar budget, compared to The Creator's 80M. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy if either of those win, yet both deserve the award to me equally

    • @devdanferguson7616
      @devdanferguson7616 3 месяца назад +4

      Godzilla had an eighth of the budget that The Creator did. I would be happy to see either win (and on a solely technical level I think The Creator's VFX are better), but to give credit where credit's due, when you take into account budget, what Godzilla achieved is arguably just as impressive as The Creator.

      I deeply pity you and anyone else who looks down on a potential _Gojira Minus One_ Best VFX Oscar win.

    • @devdanferguson7616
      @devdanferguson7616 3 месяца назад +4

      @@Wired4Life2 Although I prefer Godzilla (was in my top 5 of the year), I don't think it's fair to say that the quality of the other elements of a film should prevent it from winning a technical category. If a complete trainwreck of a movie has the best score, or makeup, or visual effects, it should win it
