Love this fly. I tie a slight variation with one set of legs and 2 strips of foam. Fish love it.
Love this!! I tried tying this fly last summer and kept 2nd guessing myself if it looked just right, thanks guys!!!
Very nice, Uncle Cheech! Hadn't thought of using dubbing to cover the thread wraps. 👍🏻🎣
Wonderful pattern and fly tying video.
This has become my new favorite fly and I haven't tied it yet
Genius, excellent video!
Cheech yelling at squatch is the new "that's Lance Egan"
Thanks Cheech! Would this be a good imitation of the Brood X cicada? Haven't tried my hand at these foam hopper type patterns yet and want to be ready for the cicadas' arrival here in southcentral Pennsylvania.
These might be a bit small for those.
Hi Cheech how come only one wing?I’ve noticed 2 wings on other RUclips tiers for mini chubbys
That’s what the pattern called for
Any advantages to trigger fibers over polypropylene yarn?
I have a heck of a time with ice dubbing. Struggling to get it onto the thread somewhat tight. Do you use wax, wet your fingers or ?
When dubbing use a small small small amount, like a wisp, and have a longer thin dubbing noodle rather than a shorter thick one.
I thought it was a "Chubby Stubby Stanky Leg" when the legs were curly?? @wvbrookchar
Thanks Cheech!
Nice little chubby.
That is only a good comment on fly tying videos. 😬😬😬
