People buy people. Very important to connect with your customers and bring your company to life through your own personal brand. It can be easy to hide behind an online shop but to bring yourself forward makes it real and allows the customer to trust and connect. Great information!

Thank you for adding so much value! Here are my takeaways from this video:
1. Do not neglect the control you have over your personal brand/reputation. You have much more control over how you are viewed than you think.
2. People buy from you not because of what you have to offer. They buy from you because they trust you. Your ideas, product, and vision have far less of an impact compared to how they view you as a person/brand.
3. Be consistent with your personal brand! Once you dug deep and decided on what it's going to be, don't sell out!
As someone who IS an expert on branding, I can concur that this is spot on. Love it as always, Dan.

*Well, if there is one person to speak about personal branding, than that definitely is the man himself, Dan Lok!*
As a corporate lawyer who built a substantial practice and former partner of a large law firm where I tried to teach our 500 lawyers about building a brand, I can tell you this should be the very first video anyone watches on this subject. Mr. Lok is exactly right, and what he talks about is the foundation of building a personal brand, online or off, in personal or professional life.
3 words (My friends would define me): Innocent, Kind & Silent
What I need to be known for: Talented, Creative & Generous person.
I'm going to be honest like you said Dan about what people say about me:
"He's intelligent, he's the most hardworking guy I know, he's very neat, he's is passionate!"
On the 'negative', they say that I am very strange and act or behave so differently and slightly in an awkward way amongst my peers! Well I actually love that too because I love being different.

this man has shown me a clear vision about going trough marketning , the unqualifies ppl the he is tallking about are very missleading , they misslead me alot of time , he simply asked a question to the audience about why we are strugling to find client for marketing if you are a marketing agent you shouldn't have a hard time marketing yourself , simple as that and i realised i should do more time studing and do an internship before i call myself a marketing agent

This is hard, finding the own voice in the noisy marketplace is always hard. Hard to really position yourselves or consistent with own personal brand as the biggest challenge is that when we're still small, we couldn't even know how to position ourselves well. Most of the time, we'd be lost, no direction and don't know what we're insisting to do currently is the right direction to go with.
But one thing I know is that stay authentic and transparent because this is the #1 thing for people to know me more, and for me to know people more. Stay positive and keep going ! Thanks Dan !

Recently my closet friend told me what he like about me. He said "Do you know what like about you? you're enthusiastic, passionate and you take things at heart. But you don't finish most on the things you start" He pointed out the good and the bad aspect of me. Now I'm really working on my weakness.

Shifu..thank you so much I got a ton of value out of your virtual mentorship ...I have been following through today after 1.4 years of experience as a turbine assembly engineer I have been relived from company the breach was on my past because if I spent my 5 years working in this company without access to any other opportunities I would fail I know I could started by side working as a part time but I agreed to terms of company where they had mentioned not to have access to any other stream of work due to confidentiality of company internal and confidential data .. and had signed a bond ...I know it was wrong dicision but at that situation I had a different mindset towards the life and goal and value of time...that how big five year would be at this age at 24 so....and ha I followed through your theory of investment of a flower seller who buys a flower shop without investing a single penny at initial ...who bought the flower shop and he paid out of 50k he paid 25k at start and paid him 60k emi which he earned from the shop he bought from that person itself and that 25k from the flower vendors buy just I will make you order 3times this more then last year after this but I am need of investment right of 25k so that if you help me you can just 3 times 100k which was my last year order if you wish you can help what a strategy shifu...what a way of prospecting ....amazing resourcefulness ....I told this story to more then 500 people in my life and I have watched that video of yours long time ago but I still remember it I don't by tell those so many people if some modification..if there... apologies shifu....now on that story moral I have tied up with a freelancing event manegar who has been working in these field and doing very productive work he 800k rupees in 6months in his pocket profit after paying every person involved in work but he has organising and handling all the workload he never trusted anyone because everyone whom he trusted cheated him like hell and again and again he came back with same energy and still worked had got success in business...he is my college friend I know him very well I have decided to support him in his time I will organise everything required for the business I will fill up his work his some flows is model which I already studied and found 1perfect apporch towards each flaw and I can do it for 100% he believe me and never break his trust ...but there is a twist for this I have transparently asked him for every event management assets he made in his career can I borrow them to my own event management company that I going to start now ....he said off course hundred percent bro I will help make your own event mangement company I will support you in every aspect possible and you can use my all assets if you fix those flows in my company so we agreed to it...

I started out disliking you immensely. But I gave you your 5 minutes worth of Showtime. I was very intrigued with what you said and how you said it and so I started watching your videos the more videos of yours I watch the more interested and what you have to say I become. You really gained nothing from these videos that I can see maybe it's an ego stroke. Or maybe it's your way of giving back. I don't know. I don't know if there's anything in your videos that I can take and make useful in my life. But I can tell you but I am learning a lot. And every time I come away from one of your videos I feel a little bit wiser then when I came to it. And so I take this moment to thank you. The comments that I hear from other people about me is that I'm exceptionally hard worker I'm incredibly smart and that I'm honest to a fault. The negative comments are: I can't think of any. I guess that's kind of one-sided. Usually it seems like you remember the bad comments more than you do the good. I guess I've been lucky and haven't had many bad comments.
