Mash ki daal k dahi baray

Mash ki daal kay dahi baray or dahi bhallay are delicious lentil fritters made from white lentils. The baray are added in yoghurt, seasoned with salt and spices and topped with a sweet and tangy tamarind chutney.
INGREDIENTS:
urad dal/ white lentils. 1cup
cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
salt 1tsp
Red chili flakes 1tsp
fresh green chilies 2
oil for frying
yogurt 5cups
sugar 2tbsp
tamarind chutney
chat masala and mint leaves or coriander leaves for garnishing
