I don't see why everyone was complaining. Yes, Daryl did a beautiful cut. However he still broke the rule so he deserves the punishment. Just because he sprained his ankle doesn't mean he should be given any leniency or anything. you sprain your ankle and you take your ten minutes. If you can't fence still to the rules that are set in place then you drop out. Otherwise you SHOULD be treated as if you have no injury. He broke the rules, and he deserves the punishment. (And yeah it sucks to get second. But come on this is Daryl Homer I doubt he even remembers this tournament.)

@PodzniakovisElite I don't know, the director wasn't very good...I thought that Moorehouse made at least one of those two parry-ripostes that the director either gave to Darryl or threw out.
That's kind of shitty that people were booing the end. Sure that seemed like it should have been Darryl's touch but in the end the decision is up to the referee who felt an infraction was caused. It happens all the time, and booing because you feel the wrong person won makes you a sore loser whether or not you were actually the one fencing.
I thought the rule was you can cross your feet as long as it's after the light goes off? That's why when people "flunge" in saber, they slow down after by crossing their feet if the light goes off.
